This is going to sound stupid, but try flexing. You won't grow any bigger from just flexing your muscles without moving your joints, but it does help against atrophy. Just flex until your muscle tires out, rest and flex again. It can actually do good things for your nervous system, teaches you finer control over individual muscles.

I felt it made a difference for me (no empirical evidence). I was travelling to Tenn & NC to mountain bike (departure almost 6 weeks to the day I broke my wrist) so I was willing to do whatever was necessary to make sure I could ride. Wore a brace and didn't do anything insane, but was able to ride with no problems. I was able to get the doc to take the cast off and put me in a brace a week early to start rehab.

What's good fellas?
Crashed a few months ago into a tree and there was no problem, but now my shoulder turned to salt and I'm not sure if I'm ever gonna ride again. I can't do basic **** like a push up or a pull up, I can't even just hang on the pull ups bars without pain. I don't know how ****ed up it was but I couldn't move my arm for like 20 seconds after I crashed and after that I rode with no problem.
Didn't even hit up any of the bike parks this summer, what a fail.Last edited by DownhillRider; 07-30-2015 at 02:43 AM.

It's never too late to get back into it though one very important thing is to rebuild your hydration tolerances and start drinking extra water about a week ahead of when your first real ride will be. I've found out the hard way that if you're riding and reach the point of thirst, it's already too late and you start losing steam more quickly vs being well hydrated ahead of time. This, especially on longer rides over 10 miles.

Some really awesome **** going down on local trails. Lidl is sponsoring it and they're installing livecams that would stream.
You can watch yourself riding in a stitched video later online like the one below.
If my shoulder feels ok I might test it out this sunday. All I ever wanted in life was to be rich, beautiful and forever young.

Depends what kind of biking you do and how much you want to spend. Start with what kind of riding you do and start narrowing the search till you find some bikes in that category then start reading reviews. Once you have a couple bikes picked out if you search x bike vs y bike you'll usually find forum posts that can answer a lot of your questions.
