First blast of real cold.
Only benefit of a cold weather loving dog, is after -30C the whole neighborhood is off-leash.
A t-shirt, long sleve shirt, a flannel shirt, bib overalls, wool scarf, mits, hat, Baffin boots and a -40 rated parka so he can sniff frozen piss stains for 20 min.------♥♥-----

I don't even see how areas with those temperatures were ever settled by humans.

There is a heavy Mormon (including some weird fundamentalist types) presence here down by the Montana border.
I am several hours north of that, here was the fur trade and logging up until they discovered the worlds largest proven oil reserves.
Since then the economy has been driven by oil and Dodge Rig-rocket sales.------♥♥-----

Smells like Gwyneth Paltrow's candles in here.
Just walked to lunch in -18.8 C (that was for you engj) before windchill. Can't complain though. Been a really mild winter so far. I've always preferred to be able to put more clothes on than burning up and taking a shower in my own sweat. I hate the darkness of winter way more than the cold.Toxic Masculinity

Not everyone was built for the heat, man. I could never live in the south.
-40 is pretty yucky if it’s a humid -40. But I’ve been in a dry -40 and changed a battery in a long sleeve mechanics shirt (Thunder Bay). Was ok. I’m told I’m a freak of nature though. I’d take -20C over 40c any day. I really don’t like being hot. I sweat like a goddamn whore in church.Squats and Maple syrup son. Squats and Maple syrup.

Sup bitches?
Back from the great south. Interview went ok. Just going to say ok because i don't want to jinx crap and im horrible about it. Could use some positivity in the life.
But....i knew all 3 on the board, and one of the people who was going to be on it was out, so the replacement was another manager who originally hired me 12 years ago. LOL.
We ran way over, and all 3 gave me separate kudos afterwards. So we shall see.MFC

It's nearly 80 degrees here and humid. Too warm for January. Can't get used to it because every week or so a cold front rolls through, dumps a bunch of rain and drops temps to a cool 50-60 degrees with overnight temps in the 40s. Brrrrrr

unrelated to everything but did you know? At the Harry Potter world/whatever @ Universal Studios in Orlando you can get shots of Fireball, hard cider and a combo of the two and in a double shot form if you wish? it's called a Dragon something or other. pretty awesome but word of advice. don't have the mixed drink with a double shot and go ride the Hulk on the other side of the park. you won't be able to walk afterwards. ask me how I know. lol
don't know what brought that memory back but I just remembered that from my November trip. it was awesome.

Think about it. How many accidents are a direct result of the carnie operating the ride? This dude is just trying to enjoy his marlboro red 100 and give the kids a good time. Chit almost always goes south due to negligence on the part of the ride assembler or and/or poor maintenance.
