    True that. Glad to see you are able to get back to training. Sounded like a helluva injury. I just got our bikes ready for the summer, but we usually stick to trails. I hate being on my bike on the road, feel much safer on my motorcycle on two wheels, yet everyone acts like that is super dangerous. People just don’t see you on a bike at all. I know you’ll be clawing right back to peak fitness in no-time.

    I always reach the point with the chin hairs when they start to become unruly that I just can't tolerate it and trim away - almost to that point now!
    Started my workout diary in the PL section, so will focus on just the workout vids here.

    Friday was a SBD day, but posting my DL here - was after squats and my coach wanted to keep the weight down a bit, so did a bunch of reps at 425/435.
    Good stuff though.
    After this one was taken, worked on lifting sooner. Coach feels my setup is fine, but concerned the longer I spend gripping the bar before initiating the lift i lose core tightness and energy. Did a couple more reps where I went down, got my grip, took out slack, then started the lift in 1-2 sec. Will work on that and see if it helps.

    Also did pull-ups, Bent Over rows, no deadlifts back was too tight, and seated dumbbell curls..

    Yesterday was squats - actually pretty heavy but didn't get any video. Posting the actual workout on my journal now...
    Changed the layout of the basement gym and it seems an improvement - should be able to see some of it on the next video.

    Very pleased with tonight workouts, got to 9 plates per side for 4 reps, could have gone a little deeper, but taking it slow. Went up to 9 plates then back down to 1, pretty fcking intense

    Thanks, I feel my posterior chain got worked good versus squatting up the lift and my legs are not achy.

    In time the PR's will climb up, I'd rather take my time and consistently lift the bigger weights than lift 500 once and never again.

    Last two sets on military press yesterday were 210x3. No vids, but was very happy moving that kind of weight w/being down over 20 pounds in body weight the last 10 weeks.

    Changed up my routine slightly as the way I had it, had me training 6 days a week sometimes, so now it is Pull, Push, Legs Rest and repeat so never training on the same days. So 3 days on one day off 3 days on.

    Nice, the end of this month (which is next week) I am taking my second set of progress pics. Curious to see how much I gain/did not gain with all the quarantine, then the covid set back. My last set of progress pics (taking 3 all in all) will be in July.

    Normally I would not be happy squatting 275lbs to parallel I like to drop below parallel for a proper squat. However, considering the L4/L5 bulging disc, plus the covid taking away a lot of my strength, I am very happy with todays squat session.

    I miss my old gym, it was much more hardcore with old equipment, no AC, just big ass fans! But it closed down due to covid

    Man you are lucky, hate these fcking mask while working out!

    By end of June or early July I will have 3 sets of progress pics (each full front, side, back) from the time I started which was Sept 1st 2020, then April 30th and last set June 30th or July 1st.

    Light leg workout tonight had to give myself a break from the heavy deads and squats. Kept everything in the 15 rep range.

    Also first time trying reverse hags squats, was difficult to get the movement down pat but after a while I go it. I'll see if I keep these for a while.
