Wide open
The great thing about today is that it's wide open. Anything can happen. Today is full of choices and it is brimming with opportunity.
Are you not satisfied with some aspect of your life? Today you can take the first steps toward changing it. Is there something you truly desire to have, to become, to experience, to create? Today you can begin to make it happen.
This very day you are free and able to make all sorts of choices. Those choices determine precisely where your life will go. What you do today can change the course of your life far into the future. Today is critical. Today really counts.
Today is your opportunity to make a real, positive difference in your life and in the world around you. It is a powerful position you're in today. Live this very day with respect and responsibility toward your own future and the treasure of today will be with you always.M O O N spells LBM

What you must do
What you have to do today is not a burden. It is a blessing.
It is your opportunity to make a difference. It is your opportunity to create value.
Because of what you must do today, you will learn and you will grow. You'll strengthen your skills and have the chance to improve your effectiveness.
True fulfillment does not come from having things easy. It will come when you positively and enthusiastically work through each challenge.
Be thankful for the work you must do, whatever it may be. Choose to make that work a positive expression of the best of who you are.
Stand up, step forward and get busy. Enjoy bringing to life the unique value that is yours to create.

Use your weaknesses
Did you realize that your weaknesses can contain an overwhelming abundance of hidden positive value? Those who only make use of their strengths are missing a big part of the picture. Use your strengths, to be sure, and also make use of your weaknesses.
Your weaknesses represent the areas in which you can make the greatest, most dramatic improvements. Sure, you can improve on your strengths but any improvement will be incremental. However, when you set out to overcome your weaknesses the change can be stunning.
For example, instead of saying to yourself "I'm no good at meeting people" consider what an enormous difference you could make by taking it upon yourself to become better at meeting people. By turning around a particular weakness you can have a dramatic impact.
Everyone is blessed with numerous weaknesses. Instead of denying them or trying not to think about them, select a few and make the effort to overcome them. It can be a truly life changing experience.M O O N spells LBM

Go do it
Rather than worrying about it, do something about it. Rather than complaining about it, do something about it. Rather than putting your energy into assigning blame, put your energy into the effort of making positive progress.
Instead of cursing your feebleness, make yourself stronger. Instead of filling your mind with regret, fill your moments with constructive action. Instead of fretting about your ignorance, find out what you need to know.
Success, happiness and fulfillment are not that complicated, though we often strive to make them so. We wait in pain and desperation for circumstances to improve, when circumstance has little to do with anything.
What do you want to have, to be, to do? Then get up and take the actions which will surely bring you there. Stop waiting, stop worrying, stop complaining, stop settling for less. You're alive and overflowing with possibilities. Start living like it!M O O N spells LBM

See the obvious
There is really no great secret to success. The way to success is clear for all to see. Those who do not see it or do not follow it are mainly victims of their own illusions.
It is easy to wish for some kind of magical intervention to bring success and fulfillment. It is easy to delude ourselves into thinking that we have found a realistic shortcut.
In reality, the secret to success is that there is no secret. The desire for a secret, magical pill comes from a lack of experience with the real engine of success, which is intentioned, focused effort. For when you taste the joy of effective effort you realize that's where the real magic exists.
The fact that any imagined result can be had by taking well thought out action is all the magic anyone could ever need. That's the way the world works; it is beautiful and elegant to the core. Follow the obvious and well laid path to success and bring real magic to your own life.M O O N spells LBM

The Way I Am
How many times do you catch yourself saying or thinking "that's just the way I am"? What wonderful opportunities and experiences do you avoid because you tell yourself they're not for you?
The way you are is precisely the way you choose to be. Though you are special and unique, you are not set in stone. You're meant to be flexible and adaptable, curious, adventurous and resourceful. "Just the way I am" is too often just a convenient excuse. Sure, you are free to choose how you wish to live, but make no mistake -- it is a choice. The way you are is based largely on the way you choose to be.
Take a look at those things you've chosen, and at the things you've avoided. Take a look at the limitations you've placed on yourself. Haven't you lived with that burden long enough? Start today to expand your own self concept.
You can do it, you can be it, you can have it, you can create it -- when you make the choice to do so. Don't sink into the comfortable excuse of "just the way I am." Go out and grow. Go out and build. Go out and create greatness. Go out and make a fascinating, fulfilling life for yourself. There's no one better suited for the job than you. Rather than settling for just the way you are, get in touch with all that you can be.M O O N spells LBM

Joy of living
Think of the most joyful moments in your life and then consider this. Though the circumstances may have changed since then, you still have that very same joyous life within you, right here and now. You still have the ability to experience real, satisfying happiness and fulfillment.
Though the years pass and the changes come with each moment, you are still you. Your dreams, your hopes, your positive possibilities are ever with you. The world around you changes at a sometimes frightening pace, yet it takes nothing away from the abundant joy which you are capable of knowing.
As life whizzes by, keep in mind what is truly important to you. Stay in touch with the people and the purposes which really matter to you and which can bring you genuine fulfillment. Nurture and delight in the joy of living.M O O N spells LBM

An objective observer
Imagine that you could step about four feet away from yourself and then observe yourself as you go about tending to the business of your life. If you could watch yourself from this slightly removed perspective, what new things would you see?
What advice would you be itching to give yourself? What opportunities would you be able to point out to yourself? What mistakes could you talk yourself out of making?
Most of us can be very sensible when it comes to observing and giving advice to others. Yet when it comes to watching and advising ourselves, the view is often distorted because we're so intimately involved.
In your mind, step back. Look at yourself as you would look at another person. Discover the things that are obvious to everyone else, and give yourself some good, objective guidance.M O O N spells LBM

Through your fears
Look in the direction of your fears. You will likely see a path toward new success and achievement. Those things which you fear represent significant challenges for you, and in challenge there is much value.
The things that challenge you most will also compel you to grow the most. The places you've always feared to go are filled with unexplored territory. There's no telling what treasures you could find there.
A few of your fears will genuinely keep you out of trouble. Most of them, though, are not there to stop you but to prepare you. The more you confront your fears and work through them, the more new and fertile ground you'll uncover. There's a whole rich and wonderful world waiting just on the other side of your fears.
Heed your fears by adequately preparing yourself. Then march right on through those fears toward the golden rewards which are beyond them.M O O N spells LBM

Effort and patience
Effort gets things done. Patience sees them through. Both are crucial to success. Without patience, the passing setbacks and disappointments would soon overwhelm even the hardiest effort. Without effort, patience would accomplish very little.
When you can balance effort and patience, it is a powerful combination. You can make almost anything happen with enough effort, but not right away. The most effective effort is continuing effort, which patience makes possible.
Though they may at first seem to contradict each other, effort and patience actually work great together. The most spectacularly successful people in any field are those who have the patience to continually apply their effort for as long as it takes to succeed.
Know when to push and when to wait. Balance aggressive effort with a deep, underlying patience and the results you achieve will be truly amazing.M O O N spells LBM
