Alright thanks! So I guess I should reach 15% around 155lbs or 12% at around 150lbs if I don't lose muscle mass. Yeah I don't think I'll be able to reach my goal of at least 15% by Christmas but I'll do the best I can.
Also nice to hear I have good core muscles, I didn't think that was the case since I only ever do ab exercises sporadically lol. Maybe abs will show at a higher bf than I expect them to.

Thanks man, the wife took the picture and asked if she could post it and that’s when I realized I was getting moobs haha so I’ve been going strong since. Just started to dial in my diet the last few weeks and count, and weigh every thing I eat and hit my deficit goal. I’ll be back at the end of December with another picture and I’m hoping to be in the 170-175 range

Hi guys, just wanted a quick bodyfat estimate for my current physique as I'll be starting a lean bulk tomorrow.
Height: 5'9
BW: 125-126lbs
Waist: 26in
Planning to get to around 130 by February, then see where I go from there, but really wish to take things slow.Last edited by MengShu57; 11-02-2019 at 07:55 PM.

Bulk:- 23% about
Cut:- Around 15%
You could get away with cutting more and look more defined and still solid to around 175ish lbs and will be in the area of 10-12% depending on water and glycogen loss and of course lean mass loss which is likely to occur near the bottom end.
And again I imagine strength will start dropping nearer you get you 12% (usually does for me). As for recomp the 'attempt' is the problem as you know the science supports its possibility with even elite athletes still successful with recomps but I think the point past 15% bf it becomes more and more challenging to successfully achieve this without continuously increase exercise amount to drive growth from your fat stores.
And for someone like yourself based on your high lifts, massive increases in strength are unlikely therefore stimulating growth without a caloric surplus becomes less likely unless the continual increase of volume occurs to compensate the inability to continuously increase strength.
You could try for a few months at a recomp and see how you progress. This would give you a break from dieting and allow for hormonal balance to occur which in itself may offer some water weight loss and glycogen replenishment making you look leaner and bigger and offer a true picture of your natural physique at this weight level. From there you will also have an idea of your new maintenance TDEE and allow more accurate calculation of deficit or surplus depending on your goal.
Another point to consider is what is your current caloric level? As if that number is getting a tad lower then you like and pretty sad (I have been known to go to 1600 calories before and that is depressing) then a break will allow you to hopefully increase your current TDEE with hormonal balancing and drive extra NEAT.Last edited by hardyboysare; 11-03-2019 at 02:50 AM.

What’s my body-fat percentage?
Hi I’m 5ft10, and I fluctuate between 177-180lbs. What is my body-fat percentage? Is it healthy or do I need to cutback. Workouts haven’t been consistent lately but I tend to fix that by working out 5 days a week. However, I don’t do much about dieting besides hit my protein intake. Honestly some times I’m comfortable with the way I look, and sometimes I feel deprived of how I look, but not enough to make me get on a cut as I failed a lot!.

23%
Around 24-25%. Generally I would say its not healthy having a bf% that high but if you are comfortable with it then that is your choice. You don't look overall fat you look pretty solid however you do have quite a bit of excess fat on your stomach.

Great progress from your last request looking solid and abs are coming. I would say 15%.
You could go lower if you desired and still look solid (probably to about 12-13% before diminishing returns). However it might be time to take a break from constantly cutting and return to maintenance for a while (2-3 weeks) allow your hormones to balance out and any extra water weight to leave.
After that you will have a true idea of your new TDEE and physique structure. Then you can bulk if you like or try to get leaner but I certainly think its getting time to reserve gears cutting continuously sucks and you have done a great job.

Does DEXA has a substantial margin of error?
Sorry for the english, I'm Brazilian. Came back from checking my DEXA results, and the result announced that I have 44% body fat.
Can DEXA make mistakes on the final result, taking weight, height and equipment model? According to professionals from Physical Education, a first sight from doctor and my guessing, I would be somewhere between 30 - 35%
I'm 25 years old, 6'4'' (1.94m) and 130 kg (286 lb)

Hey peeps! My name is Panos. I've been obesse (heavily) for most my life. I recently decided to give up on that "life"style and get my **** together (started working out 3-5 times per week and counting every single calorie, increasin my protein intake and reducing my fats).
I would like your expertise to tell me whats my body fat % and whats your guess about the time requirement it would take to fix this (quite honestly) disgusting mess. Not to the point of "aww look how athletic he is" but to pass as a normal human being. Thanks for your help.
Required info:
Age: 26yo.
Height: 1,72cm
Weight: Almost 100kg (my heaviest was 115kg)

I would say around 35-37%. No one here judges your image we are just here to help you along the path to achieve the physique you desire as long as you are willing to commit to it.
It is always difficult to give an estimate on weight target however I personally would imagine focusing to get down between 70-80kg should be your first goal. 80kg is around the healthy weight mark for someone your height.
Your not as high as 44%. I would agree and say around 35% would be correct.
