In regards to both of them, the addictive properties of heroin far outweigh both of those. They broke the law, this is the punishment. It's like capone when alcohol was outlawed. They deserved long sentences or if you're going to take a hardline stance and apply the death penalty then do so swiftly after they were found guilty, not drag them out at midnight 10 years later. Anyone who believes that was appropriate punishment is genuinely sick in the head.

It doesn't matter which drug is more addictive — the reality is that millions are hooked on tobacco, alcohol and while we're at it let's throw in many heavily addictive prescription drugs, and all of those substances ruin lives. I'm simply pointing out in terms of sheer numbers they impact far more people than heroin. The only difference is they're legal.

Was cruising along at 1am to get some McDonald's when I see a street light lying across a median strip blocking 3 lanes, glass and all sorts of chit strewn everywhere and some cars parked off to the side with their hazard lights on. I could have driven around it since one lane was free but I thought I better do something about it because it was raining and someone might slam into it.

A couple of guys also had the same idea. We tried dragging it with two up one end and a guy down the other end but not much was happening. One guy seemed content to leave it on the median strip.

I thought f'k it, I'm moving this thing. Deadlifted it, got under it, propped the end with the lights on my shoulder, adrenaline kicked in, and I just ran with it like I was 10 metres out from the line on grand final day. Got it up onto the hill with the grass while the guy down at the end that goes into the ground dragged his end into the gutter. Mission accomplished.
