What's a 'good' team ? A true contender, a playoff team? Boston's going to make the playoffs and depending on which teams they draw, they could actually do something. (Montreal, Pitt, even the Rags)

From a Bruin's fan perspective, I wouldn't want to see that trade because I feel the Habs get better. Just not really sure how this helps the Avs... unless the Habs are adding. This 1 for 1 trade doesn't make sense because you'd think the Avs would be trading for futures, not somebody just 3 years younger with a comparable offensive output.

I feel like the word elite is watered down if were gonna give Matt Duchene that label. 32 in 48 = 54 point paceLast edited by DreamerCut; 02-14-2017 at 12:43 PM.

Tarasenko is being centered by Jori "idk how to hockey" Lehtera and is still one of the top scorers in the league. If you are elite you put up points no matter who you are with, sure your points will be lower than if you were playing with other elite players but you would still put up good numbers on your own. Elite players make those around them better players, they dont have to rely on their linemates to generate opportunities for them.
Blues Hockey is life! I live for pain and disappointment.

So you had to go back to over a decade to find the one exception to the rule, and if you go back even further you'll find nothing but more examples that support my argument? You just proved my point. Thank you.
"Depending on which team they draw" they'll get owned by anyone in the playoffs. I've already explained this 100 times before.

The rookies are getting about 17 minutes a night now instead of 7 or 8 on the 4th line
Dvorak and Perlini are looking so good, really excited for what they'll bring. Next year Strome and Keller in the mix too
Duclair still needs to be called up, no sense in him being in the AHL. I know you think he's great but he's incredibly soft so hopefully he can figure things out
It turns out Duclair moved out of Domi's place and Chychrun moved in.. Looks like he won't be here much longer if I had to guess
