yeah if we're lucky it'll be a couple more months at least. they're both 2 pounds right now and the OB said she'd love for them to get to 4 each. I'm more nervous as we get closer, more for my wife than the girls. luckily the doc said that we got a few things in our favor: this is the 2nd pregnancy, they're natural/spontaneous twins (vs IVF), and they're girls (higher survival rate/healthier on average than boys).

what's new with you? living with Necon yet? married? plans to visit Kansas?

Nothing new yet. We’re actually going through our longest separation since we’ve been together. The next time we see each other will be before our wedding in November.

Nah, I don't think it'll lead to that. Sex on a second date is sad for both the dude and the chick. If you have sex on a first date, that's simply a hookup and you won't talk again unless you want to hookup again. For an actual relationship, I'm alright with waiting 4-6 weeks before going for a home run. Gives us both a chance to get to know one another. My preconceived notions tell me if a chick is into dating and wants to have sex or says okay to sex on a second date, I'm better off staying away. And if a dude is pushing to have sex on a 2nd date, there's something wrong with him mentally.

In other words, dating != hooking up.

I feel that statement absolves people of any responsibility. One thing I’ve learned from experience is that being accountable is empowering. Knowing that you have control over yourself is very powerful.

Can't find the picture off hand, but i the Misc someone posted a picture of a JC Penny near him that had a section for 'Girls Plus' which was for overweight kids, size 10.5-20.5 or something like that. No longer do we even seem to call it a health issue; they are 'Plus'. Seems to really just add to the acceptance of the problem rather than finding a solution.

On the up side, there are many people I can out run in a zombie apocalypse, so that's a bonus.
