McCarthy might be worse might be better. We will see. Garrett was in for 10 years and they barely sniffed the playoffs. There is huge changes needed though and im afraid jerry might be the issue. better to lose out this season get your top 10 drafts cut deadweight and compete next year.

That being said this team will have a playoff shot and with the receiver group and zeke they will always have a shot to hang with other teams offensively.

I'm definitely not saying Garrett should have stayed, ditching him was 100% the right move, but it will suck losing to him after our early season implosion. I honestly don't think they have a playoff shot unless they do something about the defense.

At this point they should just add Earl Thomas chit he's a vet, should at least put in SOME part in the defense..

I wish Cowboys had a defense so we could Dak shine the brightest he can. I still remember that pass to Beasley in 2018 vs Giants. That **** was clean

I agree, there is nothing to lose at this point. ET3 is an instant upgrade over anyone we have back there.

It seems that Dallas just simply does not value the DB position at all. It's mind blowing. I don't know what they were thinking paying Jaylon. He had 1 solid season under his belt, and still had time on his rookie contract. Hindsight I bet they wouldn't have paid Cooper if they knew they'd get Lamb in the draft.

I just can’t see a guy like McCarthy dealing with Earls distractions in the locker room. That was a huge problem in the end in Seattle and the whole time in Baltimore. Even his closest teammates wanted him gone. Dallas can still make noise this year. Lots of games left and I wouldn’t be surprised if a 6 win team won the East. Home playoff game. Anything can happen.

I don't disagree with any of that, Dallas is just a clown show this year, so whats one more added..... Cowboys have the talent, but holy fuk their defensive scheme is an absolute nightmare thus far. I would be willing to bet Nolan is gone if they have 2 more horrible performances.

Allowing an average of nearly 40pts per game is insane. No way to win, even if the offense was clicking on all cylinders (which is hasn't done until they are already down 3+ scores)

Part of me was willing to chalk the bad start up to no pre-season/new staff/new scheme, but it's getting worse each week instead of getting better.

If we lose to the Giants or even give up a ton of points Mike Nolan's seat is going to get really hot

This is true, y'all remember how Cowboys turned things around in 2018? 3-5 and won so many straight barring the Colts game. They did that and it was a dope season because they have never done that in the past. This chit ain't over guys srs

Shouldn't be a surprise elite but getting older and has an injury tract. Extremely happy they took biadasz and will have to grab other oline prospects as well going forward.

We forget he's been a starter since his rookie year (2011). He was 20 years old when he started the NFL. He has a lot of mileage on his body already.
