yes. also notice the dog-piss destruction of the front yard. our back yard is 14-feet off the ground so we kept him out front until he got big/coordinated enough to run the stairs. Now I have a sod job next spring.
also notice the torso of the dog is 3x the size as the torso of the wife.Stern Crew

I wonder that too sometimes, but I've also played with guys that swing like that and score really well. Not under par well, but high 70's low 80's well. Has he posted the length of his course? I'm not following that thread.
Also, LOLing with your poor wife. Hope she's ok.
My Golden bolted on me the other night after letting him out of the truck when we got home (no leash). He's done it to my wife/kids, but never to me. Once I caught up to him I made him well aware it wasn't ok.You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

If he hits his drives as far as he claims (I doubt it watching those videos), he is still leaving 200 in from any decent length course playing from champ tees. With his swing speed based on his claimed driver distance, any course I ever play from the tips he would be hitting a fairway wood into every green. You are not scoring well in that situation.
I do play with PLENTY of guys that swing like him and are very good golfers. But they all play from the senior tees.Stern Crew

I'll have to find his thread and go read. The course I normally play (it's been a while) only has 3 par 4's that are over 400 yards. And, one of them has an elevated tee so it doesn't play that long. From the tips it's 6629 yards.
Most guys here play from the white's (6411 yards) and where I've seen the slow swingers score well. You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Is that railing new? We are looking at replacing the railing on our porch to keep monster doge safe from going through it. Do you remember what it costs per LF and is that mounted to a bracket to the top of the deck?

They usually have mounting pins or studs you screw into each railing top and bottom, and then put the balusters in when you assemble it.
When I assembled of those I put the top railing on my router table and cut a little relief channel into it to help locate the mounting pins. Then used the finished top rail as a template to mark the locations on the bottom rail to keep them perfectly plumb.------♥♥-----

I invented that railing because I wasnt paying $150 for 6' section kits that I don't think even look that great. I used 8' 5.5x5.5 privacy fence posts as the sleeves and cut them in half. Used a multi tool and notched out the top and bottom rails in the sleeve. Since the 4x4 is smaller you have an inch on each side to slide the rails in. Then screwed a piece of matching trex on the top and screwed the sleeve to the post to lock it all in. I had all the balusters from my old railing so that helped too.
Here's a little closer photo
These secure the balusters

That picture is epic, so funny. I thought you were screwing with us that you had that. I think I got lucky training the Newfs growing up because after having large breed carting dogs coming back for training, I’ve never had a dog come close to pulling me off my feet. I did have that one trip me in the showering. Elastic waisted pants and no underwear on. I think I was about 18 at the time, all I could hear was GASP when I got the ground (he dragged me a few feet) and then my mom howling with laughter at me. Also, choke chains for like. Those flat collars are just for looks.
Gixxer that looks amazing! You handy lil guy!Squats and Maple syrup son. Squats and Maple syrup.

Also guys, I have a question for you still lifting. Do you guys have rules about recording in your gym? I get the change room (ha) but I can’t even record my lifts so I can fix my form? The fukk is that?

yeah good stuff. we currently have the posts bolted to the joists on the outside and we weighing moving them to the top with mounting brackets if that would make it more secure. I like the wire stuff for the view even though its sort of new age and not typically our style.Stern Crew

Wifey thinks she is tough, and she is, but little man has some raw ass instinct strength that shocks me at times and I am 200 pounds almost. He is well behaved but in this instance was like "oh there is big sis gonna jump her when she isn't looking" and took us completely off guard. He is going to a Schutzhund trainer next month. Was supposed to start at 6 months but he had some slow developing kidney issues which kept him from getting snipped until 4 weeks ago, then recovery. So he got the full dose of sexual maturity testosterone delivered before getting snipped...and his 4 gen lineage, and its on his AKC papers, is made up of 30% police dogs from Czech and Slovakia...so he is a physical specimen...his AKC papers say blah blah name "Policia Czech Republic" which is cool. The first time our vet saw him (she is my wife's best friend), he was 8 weeks old and she stared in his eyes for 30 straight seconds and he just stared back at her the entire time and she her quote was "ok...so...this guy is all balls." lol he is wonderful though. Honestly should not have snipped the little beastie but I don't think we could tolerate him unsnipped.

Also while posting about doge, his name is Baloo. The bear from the Jungle Book. The breeders kids named them all Disney names and he was the big roly poly one, so he was Baloo. While we were thinking about other names, wife took this picture of him taking a deuce as an 8-week old and we were like, nope he looks just like a bear, he is gonna be huge, he is Baloo...

Well, at least he will have a big beautiful shepherd head if he got his full dose! I don’t doubt for a second that he’s strong AF. Shepherds are no joke. The training you are getting, is it for working/agility? Or is it regular puppy training? And did you show your wife the picture??
HAHAHAHAHAHA at the deuce pic! That’s awesome.Squats and Maple syrup son. Squats and Maple syrup.
