My Mossberg 500 is loaded with one in the chamber with Pitbull rounds. Had a chance to buy a large amount for pretty cheap and loved them when I did tests against 00. I'll have to dig up the pics if anyone is interested.

Rejection is part of life and if you go around avoiding it, then you aren't going to realize everything this universe has to offer. The quick, sharp pain of rejection you feel is a very momentary fleeting feeling that will disappear. The pain of "what if", however, can last a life time

Just read the Westboro Baptist douchebags are going to picket the 8 year old marathon victim's funeral. I'd like to go and do what the Patriot Guard has done for several of my friends, but I honestly don't know if I could restrain myself.

Friday night. Date night in Miami. Every night is a date night in Miami, and everyone's having sex. But for me, sex never enters into it. I don't understand sex. Not that I have anything against women, and I certainly have an appropriate sensibility about men, but when it comes to the actual act of sex, it's always just seemed so undignified. But I have to play the game.

The idea of having different shells staggered in your shotgun does not seem like a good choice to me. There is no way you will be counting your rounds and know exactly what is coming out of your barrel next. Hell even hunting with 3 shells in the gun I sometimes am not sure how many I shot (though it may be easier to tell with a pump vs semi). When you adrenaline is pumping, you're not going to know what round is next.

Even the instructor was like okay.jpg and it was kind of glanced over. While rare, buckshot may not fully penetrate the skull whereas a slug pretty much always will. More useful in a team, I suppose. Or fighting the terminator. Erick15 asked about potential scenarios where slugs would be used.
Am I... going farley on farley?
I think its already been covered, but I disagree with dutch loading also. Unless you are very well trained (and likely, even if you are), you are going to be so focused on getting rounds off that you will likely not remember what is happening with the gun until you get a dead trigger. Maybe not 9 rounds, but there have been instances of police swearing that they only fired 3-4 rounds when in reality they ran the gun to slide lock and reloaded. I want to keep everything as simple for myself as possible.

The site has pretty much always been populated by douchebags. That's just the way it's been going all the way back to when I created my account in 2005.
More recently there was a very active long running thread in the ammunition section where people posted deals. Well, douchebag *******s that they are, they couldn't control their *******ry and the thread was closed. Somebody made another one hoping it would go better, and it was quickly closed.
The most recent bitch fest was because the paid members kept making a huge deal about 'leaches' who are using ar15.com to save money on ammunition purchases but won't pony up to pay for a membership. Created a different ammo thread for paid members only in a paid members only section, and apparently even started lying about deals that were posted in the paid section, trying to browbeat others into buying a membership.

I'm not sure who owns them these days... They're probably Lanber or Khan (Turkish). I would generally shy away because you arent going to get warranty support and they use knockoff designs of good guns (Remingtons and Mossbergs) with substandard parts.
Just for fun? Sure. Home defense? I'd go with Mossberg (I would say Remington but fuk them after what they just pulled... and I love my 870).
