Thanks Pharm. The bar is cool and I think over time, if I learn to use it properly I will be able to take advantage of it's properties.
It was not noticeable at lower weights. Above 495 I could feel the difference. At 585 it was significant. Hoping at I get up into 1rm territory it improves even more.
Here is a cap of the bar coming off the ground at 605. Hard to say, but it looks like I am gaining about an 1"
Funny you mention the socks. I was having issues figuring out what to wear with my vibrams. I did not want toe socks. I really like to dead in my vibrams over my Asics. I think my heel feels more stable. It would roll at times in my asics causing knee strain. Anyway....I found Adidas make 'stirrup' socks for soccer. Guess if you dont like wearing socks in your shoes but you need a place to put your shin guards in. I ordered them off a UK site. Problem of socks and vibrams solved!RAW lifts

Saw thread bump and realized that I never posted this. This was 635lbs. I know I have more in me but I am a little burned out at the moment. Going to take a little break from deads and then come back and pull better

435x1 today at 190lbs and 37 years of age. It came up fairly easily, so I'm sure there's more left in the tank.
A question for you DL experts: How often should one attempt a max deadlift? I don't want to keep pushing the envelope here if I'm putting myself at risk of injury. I'm hoping to break into the 500's next year.My vids: youtube.com/channel/UCXYsnKrrmhI9oPzfzkn8NsA

Done today. 495x4 no tng. I hit a fast single at 545 and was considering going for a pr of 575 but I forgot my chalk so didn't want to miss a pr due to no chalk. I have hit 495x5 before so went for that but left hand slipping at top of 4th so didn't go for a fifth. I know with chalk Id have 5..

Hi Guys - new to the forum - first post!
I'm 35 (36 this year) so on the younger side.
I weigh 178lb.
I have a vid of a 285kg conventional lift somewhere and I just did a trap bar lift of 569lb the other day. Will get those uploaded when I can.
Great that there is an over 35 section as I start to wonder if it's a young man's game these days!

I confess I was wondering why your trap bar was so much less than your conventional. 200kg is still a huge lift at 80kg IMO though . Welcome to the forum - looking forward to the vids - always nice to see some big lifts from us scrawny feckers.
