that all i do all day is read, my profession will soon be in the health field. Im not saying your way is wrong either im just saying what works best for me, after I bust my ass balls to the wall in the gym, sweat pouring from my face, veins popping out my head, the hi gly works best for me, i take it within 5 minutes after my last rep, and I can tell you it feels amazing and i dont know its working i can actually feel it working

Chill people. It's not like theres one correct answer. There are multiple certifications and studies out there and multiple sources/types of research. I know mine personally is taken from American counsel on sports medicine. There are different factors involved such as an individuals particular diet, metobolic rate, and duration/type of exercise. So do whatever makes you feel better after a workout. I personally eat chilli afterwards for fiber/protein but I know people that need to eat hi-glycemics like bagels or sweet potato after an intense work out because they feel weak or light headed. Good luck to all.

07-26-2007, 04:29 PM #42Michael: Bros before hoes. Why? Because your bros are always there for you. They got your back after your ho rips your heart out for no good reason. And you were nothing but great to your ho, and you told her that she was the only ho for you. And that she was better than all the other hoes in the world. And then suddenly...she's not yo' ho no mo'.

bottom line is to this thread get a 2:1 carb to protein ratio post workout.. whatever works for u works for u ..
if u want to do chili, dextrose, bananas, oats whatever .. if it satisfies u and gives u gains stick with it
science is there to back up some of these anwsers, but if u want to keep doing what ur doing and it works for u then dont stop.. bottom line everyone is different we are not made of allt he same genes so what works for one may not work for another
got it good
