I should have been more clear, but I would not think it would take a lot to understand that meant 'shot and killed' by AUTHORITIES, since I made the disclaimer of not being shot and killed by other protestors.

You know what, this is not worth it. My apologies sincerely. Not wanting to get sucked into arguing with strangers. Just going to wake up tomorrow and affect change in the ways I can directly. Trump supporter here. But I am not throwing bricks nor am I setting fires.

I feel so bad for others who are hurting during these times that I have been making efforts to try to bring something good in ways I can. For me, random acts of charity has made me feel a lot better. Some not so random. Helping others sure can make people smile, but the feeling you get is 10x greater.

Maybe there is something I can do for you? But if not, I will do something good for someone in your place.

Agreed. Considering how concerned DHS was with protecting a Federal Courthouse in Portland that protestors got beat by the cops for getting near a fence but these folks can break into the Capitol during a joint session of Congress before tear gas was deployed. Big difference.

I didn't think of the death while reading your post(s).

The female who was shot, was killed by a Capital Police-person. She was a vet. Sad beyond belief, but I cannot imagine why anyone would break into the Capitol, breaking windows and causing damage. It only takes one person to pull the trigger in such chaos and odds are it's going to happen and someone is going to die. She should not have been there and the Capitol Police-person should have used much better judgment than to shoot an unarmed female. No shots should have been fired and Capitol Police should have had more non-lethal tools to use. Horrible for her and her family and for our country. Just my opinions.
