I wish other countries would look toward Japan and adopt or at least try learn from their current models of government, education, work culture, etc. It's exactly what they did years ago with west and china. They combined their own ingenuity with what we were doing and pretty much tried to and made every established system better.

If you want a country like Japan and their living standards there is a enormous personal cost & sacrifice and it only works when everybody in the country collectively agrees to pay it and that's after your teens you basically work till you die and your company becomes your entire life, above your family even.
