I remember this guy. Everyone at the time thought he was a troll because he would constantly write about balcony related posts. Like it was his trolling schtick. Until it came to light that he was being charged for murder rofl. Same thing with supreme gentleman. Everyone thought he was trolling with his I drive a bmw why can't I get chicks routine. Until it turned out he was legit psycho. You get trolled so much online sometimes you forget there are actually people out there who are deranged enough that it only sounds like trolling to the normal person.

"The court heard an altercation between the pair as well as Ms Wright's eventual death on an audio recording Tostee made that night.
Tostee became angry after Ms Wright threw some decorative rocks at him.
"You're lucky I haven't chucked you off my balcony you God damn psycho bitch," Tostee is heard to say in the recording.
"You're not going to collect any belongings, you're just going to walk out.
"If you try to pull anything I'll knock you out, I'll knock you the f*** out - do you understand?"

"A recording of a fight between Gable Tostee and the woman he is accused of murdering suggests she was "choked or strangled in some way".
Tostee's barrister Saul Holt QC disputed the suggestion Ms Wright was choked or strangled.
He told the court there was no evidence this occurred, arguing Tostee had merely restrained Ms Wright in self-defence.
Mr Holt said during the altercation Ms Wright had become "increasingly erratic" and had thrown rocks at Tostee and hit him with a parts from a telescope."worse things happen at sea

Bc theres actual videotape of him on that night, moments before she fell. You can make a good case of kidnapping (locking her out in the balcony.) But he didnt push her out, her drunk ass climbed over that railing herself and fell. Balconybrah wasnt even close to her.
Edit: im not defending him. He is a piece of shyt. Hes like Zimmerman, hes probably not guilty of the crime, but hes still a giant piece of shyt.

this
iirc it was completely clear that he never actually went out there.. like in the audio you could clearly hear him open the door, throw her out there, slam it shut, and continue arguing with her and never hear the door open again. i don't support a single thing that tard did that night, but he didn't kill her, she tried climbing to the next balcony or something stupid and fell on her drunk fuking own
charge him with kidnapping or whatever but murder is a huge stretch imo

"Crown prosecutor Glen Cash told the jury Mr Tostee did not throw the 26-year-old to her death but intimidated and threatened her so greatly she felt the only way to escape was to climb down from his locked balcony."
The court heard after Ms Wright fell to her death Mr Tostee attempted to contact a lawyer and called his father.
"She kept beating me up and whatever," Mr Tostee told his father in the recording.
"I forced her out onto the balcony and I think she might have jumped off".
