i am indian and let me tell you, being indian is actually a great thing. we have beautiful people and we have ugly people. just like any race. I for 1 am a great person, have great friends, and i take care of every one that is in my life and i am glad to do it, and for that i have people that love me around me. also, indian parents are one of the best parents you can have. sometimes they can be really strict, but they will take care of you no matter what, and they will buy you what ever it is that you need. as long as your not a selfish ****head. I would post this on the female board but it would be good to hear male opinions too.

I have a boyfriend and he is a really sweet guy. He doesn't put a lot of pressure on me to look perfect, but in the past he has made his "ideals" clear (most of them mesh with what I look like naturally, so that's awesome). Of course, it's good not to let yourself go and he likes some muscle tone, so I'm usually in the gym for the purpose of looking my best and feeling good about myself. Looking good (to men, specifically my boyfriend) is important to me.

However whenever I discuss this with other women they often assume A.) that I'm in an emotionally abusive relaitonship or B.) I have self esteem issues or C.) I'm being facetious. I'm really not and I find it hard to believe I'm the *only* woman who works out for the sake of looking sexy. Of course I'd like to be healthy too, but I'm pretty open about wanting to have a more curvaceous figure and having that be my #1 motivation for weight lifting.
