I noticed you mentioned possibly picking up lifting again. It's hard, though, to devote that much time to cardio and also find time to lift. I'm the opposite: an hour or so most days for lifting makes it hard for a busy person to find additional time/energy for cardio also.

I also am interested in the mini goal/larger goal tandems. Are you choosing the mini goals with the idea that they are steps toward the larger goals, or just that they are more immediately achievable?

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, Godliness; and to Godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:5-8 NIV

I told a lie today. Scripture tells me to be honest. I ask God's forgiveness and know that whatever comes, I want to learn from this and become a better person.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:1-3 NIV

For me, just lots of work. I'm taking a couple of days off later this month to recuperate.

As far as I'm aware, business climate here is still about as good as it gets, and I don't see any big increases in cost of living.

I've probably mentioned that Houston has a fair amount of world-class medical facilities, if that's of interest. As for the rest of the state, I've no doubt there are lots of medical jobs. Of course, I think that's likely true of most places.

I think you'd make a great resident of the Lone Star State, btw.
