Or perhaps we simply underestimated man's ability to circumnavigate the globe and expand on to other continents?

Could there be a possibility that all these civilisations/architectural wonders are connected? Like, did they all stem from one civilisation that expanded outward and we simply don't know a lot about it?

Anything's possible... But from what we know so far from archaeology and geology it seems unlikely.

Really? We think that Neanderthals may have sailed from Italy to Crete well over 40,000 years ago.

    http://news.discovery.com/history/ne...an-121115.html

Not to mention that ice covered the majority of the northern hemesphere just 10,000 years ago. You wouldnt even need to sail across the ocean when you could walk on the glaciers. Some people think that is how the Clovis culture got from Northern Europe to North America.

Did you even read the articles you posted? Neither of them say or prove that it is absolutely not a pyramid. They just had a few opinions of some archeologists who say they do not believe it.

or it could be the simplest most boring yet logic explanation of ''they all thought of the same goddamn shape''. I mean they're ancient architects ffs; geometry is a basic cornerstone of that.

What's next, cubic shaped abodes were spread by vikings?

Osmanagić has claimed that the dig involved an international team of archaeologists from Australia, Austria, Ireland, Scotland and Slovenia.[6] However, many archaeologists he named have stated they had not agreed to participate and were never at the site.[7] The dig began in April 2006, and has involved reshaping the hill to make it look like a Mayan step pyramid.[1]

I want to know what they thought the massive pyramid looking thing was before they realised it was a pyramid. This seems like quite a new discovery, and it looks so obvious it should have been discovered ages ago.

Something to keep in mind is that when Gobekli Tepe was discovered EVERYONE said that it was nothing and didnt give two shiits about it.

Now, after decades of excavation it is one of the biggest archeology discoveries ever.

    Same with Troy.
