I'll have to update my weight on Oct 1st. Already lost 6lbs since my last weigh in.

For those actually competing you and everyone else should submit their weight on the 1st. I noticed in the last competition that some people lost a great deal of weight the first week. It was actually 2 or more weeks worth of weight loss rolled into one week. Don't cheat, you are only lying to yourself. Just my 2 cents.

Im in pm sent with my info
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

I'll try to be a bit more clear. If you submitted your weight 2 weeks before the competition started, lost weight for two weeks + the first week of the competition you will be reporting 3 weeks of weight loss. If you lose weight like I did when I started, you could be reporting 10 pounds lost for the first week. Are you being accurate? Of course not. You didn't loss 10 pounds in a week. I really don't care what you do, in the end you really are only lying to yourself.
For me, I'll report my weight on the 1st. I want to be accurate. I'm not doing this for anyone but myself. The competition is a welcome distraction and a place to share experiences and hopefully keep people motivated. Accountability may help some people stay on track or get them back on track if they fall off the rails, which most people seem to do. In the end, it is all about YOU. YOU choose to exercise. YOU choose to put the f'n fork down. YOU choose.Last edited by truushot; 09-26-2012 at 06:01 PM.

This is why I don't understand submitting your weight on any day but start day. I'll be sending my PM on October 1st, I don't see why anyone would do anything different it just makes no sense.
I skimmed over your first post and didn't grasp the meaning.
This is literally all I read, lol.

Im not worried about winning just meeting my goals and helping others meet theirs. I resent my info krete77.

I'm thinking about creating weight divisions so that a person can win in his/her own division. Because realistically, if someone is 300lbs and someone is 180lbs they are obviously not going to be losing the same weight, thus the bigger guy having an unfair advantage.
Going to go into the think tank for a little while and figure this one outwww.grazethesky.com
