Indeed, Ruhl is 2nd only to the 286-300 lbs monster Ronnie in terms of mass/freakiness

Actually at one point he was way heavier than Ronnie onstage. By like 15-20 lbs. Didn't look as good though.

He has a tough time competing with the "new" judging criteria. Guys like Heath, who bring a complete package, are making it harder for guys like Ruhl who rely on sheer size.

In an interview Ruhl said that all he wants is to be as big as he can at all costs, including health, he's a heavy smoker too. But all that beating on his body took its price, like in Ronnie's case and others, he's now passed his prime, he doesn't want to compete for the top spots, or to compete at all.

And still some people say that he had a bad physique, like they do with Palumbo, Atwood or Kovacs and don't see that these guys looked good in their prime.

I met Ruhl at the La Fitness Convention last year and he is a muscle freak(i mean that in a good way) he looked like he was wearing football pads his shoulders are so huge. Is he past his prime def but he is still a massive monster.
