I think that dat dere really went nuts in the 1950s in the Eastern bloc/Russia. Fukin monsters were produced out of there for the olympics, hence why they had a huge string of medal winners... I think people saw this and were like, "Ho lee fuk, they are fukin huge, lets do whatever they are doing and apply it to bodybuilding".
I think that "golden era" of bodybuilding was pretty decent like you said, even with a bit of gear. People still looked at least somewhat natural (although if you look back at some really old pics of people from around early 1900s, some of those weightlifters are legit strong looking and fairly aesthetic and you know for sure that none of them are on stuff). But at some point people wanted to push the limits and it got wayyyyyy the fuk out of control. Now, it's just like yeah ok, you are one big swollen homor sexors blueberry, you don't even look slightly natty.***poops 5+ times per day crew***

i agree with OP. Too many fools lifting for the wrong reason and being brainwashed.
First of all why would anyone want to look like a body builder like Jay Cutler? He looks ****ing disgusting and unless you're a lumberjack there's no reason to be that big. "OMG THOUGH HE LOOKS SO NATTY, DEM GLUTES BRO!"
All the idiots taking these supplements which have crazy ingredients in it. Sure you make get gains easier but you don't know what you're putting in. Plus eating a lemon pretty much gives the same energy as a supplement.
Not to mention the stupid know it alls. "If you're bulking you should look to consume 5000k calories ATLEAST and take in 2x protein for lb" STFU.
Not to mention half of the misc thinks lifting will get them a gf(LULZ) like lifting actually gives you the skillset to talk to people. Spend that time lifting in improving your social skills and suddenly half of the misc won't need to lift anymore*Addicted to General Tso Chicken Crew*

I grew (srs). I know a lot of people fraud on height but I actually am 6'0. I was 5'0 when I started hs, reached 5'6'' at graduation, started college at 5'8, and grew over the years from around 17-21 (late bloomer). When I was still in high school I never thought I would hit 6 feet tall. I get called tall fairly often IRL even though 6'2 is the misc average.

Studied PT throughout 2012 and gave it a go in early 2013. Lasted about 3 months before I got fed up with everything the OP listed, on top of the stupidity and incapacity for even mildly complicated thought by my bosses and other PTs.
Also felt myself going insane from the persistent looping of top-100s all day every day.

That's your thoughts OP, whether you're trolling or not.
You are on BBing.com anyway lulz
But I like BBing, I see it as an art form rather than a sport. Some of the best posing routines really showcase what goes into all those hours of lifting and eating. It pays off if you take it seriously whether you're natty or not.No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

This is why after my first 405 squat I went home and felt lackluster. Then I remembered why I started body building. To show off my body and look good, not to brag about the weights I lift in under a year span. I honestly don't care what anyone lifts. If they look good I'll admire.
OP take back your life and enjoy it.Who even cares?
