This looks amaze.
So pumped for the bolt action rifles. As someone else said, it will increase the intensity in getting kills. Ugh, comparing the quality of this trailer to the CoD trailer is laughable and sad.
There were a few Russian, Ukrainian and Turkish women that fought in WW1, with reports of Turkish female snipers at Gallipoli.

So infantry battles with bolt-actions rifles, bayonets, and the odd machine gun ala Red Orchestra and vehicles circa Battlefield 1942?
I wonder how explosives and tanks will work. Considering tanks and anti-tank weapons didn't exist for over half the war (and personal anti-air weaponry didn't even exist), I wonder how they'll balance the vehicles out. Every swinging dick on the Western Front can't be packing Stingers this time.US ARMY Vet crew

Shut up. I bought Battlefield 4 March 2016, played for 3 days and quit/deleted. And to keep myself from being biased, I re downloaded it to give the game another chance.
It's an issue that needs to be fixed and I'll continue to voice my concerns. This peasant sht needs to cut from the game or hardcore at best. I don't know about you casuals, but I'm all about skill and intense fire fights. Not headless chicken running. Funny how most of you talk about ending a match 30-2 when you're most likely a bum without Aim Assist.
I've always been a console fan growing up, but I see what PC players are talking about when it comes to dumbing shooters down. Killzone and Rainbow 6 does it right, let's see if Dice can follow suit.
Playing BF4,
TFW decent tank player but noobs disable me with 1 hit.
Battlefield 3 had better tank play imoLast edited by AndYUKnowThis; 05-06-2016 at 10:35 PM.

Calling the piss-poor attitude out. You wanna play with no AA then turn it off, which you can do in the control settings.
People who sit there and complain/nitpick everything, instead of enjoying the game, for what it is, with others can kick rocks. Post your stat sheet if you feel that you're so much better than everyone, maybe us "casuals" can learn a thing or two. In all reality you're probably the pleb who can't play well on console or PC and make yourself feel better by calling other people, who are having fun and contributing to the community, names and attacking their ability to participate.
The sour attitude can walk or negs.
... Anyways lol

How can I enjoy the game when there's no challenge??? And did I brag at all about being better than you?? No.
If I turn it off I'm at a disadvantage dumb ass. You're just mad because you're most likely garbage without it. I remember when I 1st turned it off....Was a hard pill to swallow knowing how bad I sucked, after some time though I began to break even
All I ask Dice is to turn it off in hardcore. It's called hardcore for a reason. A game that aims for you is casual

Claims that he wants a challenge, doesn't want to be at a disadvantage, not sheriff.
Not sure you understand the meaning of challenge. Calling me a dumb ass after I suggest you make the game more challenging for yourself, A+ comment bro and by bro I mean never my bro...
You suck and you justify it with criticizing other people, that's your prerogative. I'm sure you know my entire gaming history and skill level for all the game I've ever played console or PC. Calling people "casuals" when you're a chit player is laughable.
Lots of others have commented that you're a chit poster, complaining to no end. Apparently in this case, those who can't do, complain.[Strongman au Naturel] [XBL - zeroTORK] *Marsbrah Crew*

EA at least has some bloody sense going the WWI route; they already have Star Wars Battlefront and Titanfall for Sci-fi. Activision has three developers pumping out the same future crap that they refuse to admit is just fictitious silliness.
The approach that we've been taking with this game... the inspirations don't come from sci-fi or space in any way. The inspirations come from war stories. This is Call of Duty. We are talking about warfare and in this case Infinite Warfare... what we feel is that classically told narratives can take place in any setting.
Back on track, the Battlefield51 trailer seems like the complete opposite of the Infinite Warfare one; the graphics are crisp, the tension is palatable, and most importantly you can read into the faces not hidden behind a stupid paintball skull mask. The fighting is close up and personal with trenches confirmed. The flamethrower tease has me curious if they can finally make it a viable weapon for a change.
I also don't know if anyone else noticed that there seemed to be a green gas in a brief bit during the trailer, so maybe we'll also get chemical weapons as well, meaning the combat is going to be far more intense.
Even more interesting is the emphasis on the club, shovel kill, and cavalry charge, so it would be fantastic if they finally can pull off a melee combat system more complex than spamming the right analog button.
Best thing about bolt action rifles is that maybe the online will be bearable for a change without a bunch of idiots running around firing automatics to spray bullets. The combat pacing could be more sporadic bursts instead of constant ******** run n' gun.
Again, this would be another smart design choice because for that we have Battleborn, Overwatch, Doom, and those other free to play type shooters coming out. We have more than enough ******* shooters on the horizon.
It will be interesting to see how the weapon dynamics play out, e.g. automatics for suppressing fire, bolt action for mid-long range, how flamethrowers fit into everything, ect., as well as classes and how cover is handled.I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine

It was mentioned some in the reveal last night. BF1 is this time doing some changes from the former BF games. They want to emphasize on the team-gameplay more. In short, it will be set up or make it easier to work as a team, and they will make it more rewarding. They want to go away from the CoD type of play as in chasing a K/D - ratio - score. But they also said you can go lonewolfing and sniping very well as well.
As every war to this date, there is a constant evolution on the battlefield. Back in 1914 when the war enrupted, some militaries still charged in old fashion, medieval style with horses and men. They quickly understood charging a maxim machine gun nest was a very confronting act.
Hence they build tanks, better atillery, etc. For every weapon or tactic, there's a opposite action.
There was anti-tank weapon during WW1, one I know of looks like a giant rifle, built to penetrate the frame on the viechle and kill the engine.
Anti aircraft weapons where stationary. And mobile AA weapons where often just ordinary machine guns tilted to the sky. lol.
Its going to be fine, heck there also where sub-machine guns during WW1, and will be in BF1 as JackFrag youtuber states. Dont worry brah
As some statet above your quote, BF1 is more about teamplay as they said in the presentation. Thank god for that. I understand what you're saying about casuals, have friends IRL who complains about casual gaming too lol. Sounds to me you want more counter-strike gameplay, hence you should look elsewhere than BF-series.
And I got to agree, auto-aim is a fuked up thing. Didnt realise AA was a thing until very later lol, fuk I sucked big time turning it offActual viking crew

Yeah, it sucks, but doesn't matter at this point, a lot of people like it. And its seems the series is more arcadey or getting more arcade than i thought. Ill just accept that fact and play. Turned aim assist back on and racked up on kills. When you realize Battlefield is COD on a much bigger scale you say fuk it and play
Can't wait till Battlefield 1, been dieing for an old school shooter
