Even bigger than I expected. Arms already significantly larger than mine. Starting Strength of peace.

I'm all for full body barbell based routines for the novice (or anyone else for that matter) for gaining size but Starting Strength is not and was never intended to be a maximum hypertrophy protocol nor was it intended for prospective bodybuilders and it lacks enough arm stimulation for most individuals to develop a balanced physique from it.... thus someone running this program should not expect to have good arm development as a result of the program unless they happen to have particularly good arm genetics.
I have arm isos in the full body program I have stickied in the WP forum for prospective bodybuilders.

I should have started with something similar to your routine.
Though it's funny, I've been doing 3 sets of incline curls and overhead extensions twice a week for the past 8 months, but my arms are still tiny. I've learned the hard way that 2 exercises for the biceps and triceps for 3 sets, twice a week, is probably what it's going to take.'People are gonna remember me as a god forever... Isn't that what Babylover exclaimed? That it doesn't matter if you add extra work to SS, such as BB curls or whatever.
Personally I haved viewed SS as a complete beginners guide to learning the compound movements. I don't think it's primarily designed for people who's goal is to get nothing but size. But people like myself who want to be able to lift heavier on the compounds, I think that is where it's at.
I think Mark Rippetoe said something along the lines of: "The first time you step in the gym as an 18 year old, you have the greatest advantage in the world to gain strength".
And that's pretty much it.

Agreed. If I had a 16 year old come to me and say "I am starting football or wrestling this year... what should I do?" I would tell them to buy the Starting Strength book. If a young kid said "I want to start working out and get into powerlifting" I would tell him the same thing.
The volume is too low for anyone seeking optimal gains in size and it leaves too many muscle groups under developed.
Eric sorry if this is taking your thread off topic... back to Eric's biceps guys. Bicep vein of peace.
