it is one of if not the hardest lessons in life WEGS...thy will be done..
I can remember praying day and night constantly for mom to get better, get stronger but that lump was growing too fast and she kept getting weaker..and I had to face it..that my wishes/prayers for her miraculous recovery were not coming true..ooo I was fighting it with everything I was worth..trying to force my own stubborness and strength of will into her..
but she was getting so tired and she was in pain..so I began to pray for her peace instead..

i'm so sorry you went through this pain, lbmom. you are a good soul, and sometimes, we just don't understand all the 'whys' in this life.
yes, i'm praying that if this is her 'time' to go, then that God grants her peace to cope with it.

There will always be jerks in this world.
I was one of them and worse.
And I dont feel that I deserve his forgiveness, but thank GOD I dont get what I deserve.
GOD doesnt pick or choose who he does or doesnt love. But some are more blessed than others it would seem.
If you conform your life to the ways of the world, then yes, it would seem that others have it better.
But in the end, would it be better to know GOD and go through the struggles or never know him and struggle?

JESUS said when the storms come, not if, you will be like the man who built his house on the rock.

And in seeking serenity, its not the lack of storms in our life, its the calm in the storm

for the first time, i think you have helped me see things differently when it comes to this.
i'm undeserving of God's unfathomable mercy, too. we're all sinners.
yes Jesus said to take up our crosses and follow Him, not that He would remove the crosses.

WEG, ever since reading all the business about your friend I haven't been able to get this song out of my head. It's one that means a great deal to me. I may be way out of line, sorry if so but I had to share..first one you can understand better, but the second he is singing live and its so darn heartfelt. It's about his friend who had 'MISME Syndrome".

oh it was 20 years ago now..sometimes I think it was to teach me humility, compassion and to never take the ones you love for granted and assume you will always have them. I think it helped me...pay attention ya know? like when the kids were little..try to make each day memorable for them in case I dont make it to 50..mom was 48.

Yeah the first half of the season was pretty good, but I haven't cared for the last 4 or 5. I really like the one of the girl who pretended to be a model... when she was a model herself. She had made up like 15-20 diff FB profiles. Chit is crazy.

Then there was the one with the gay guy, that one legit made me cringe.
