Spent a bunch of time re-staking trees and adjusting things after doing a full backyard mow and trim yesterday, this is gonna look so good when it’s all grown in brahs
Got more to do this year, grabbing a truck load of black mulch this weekend and want to spread some more topsoil in areas that are still rough

Well...2 years later this is what the side patio looks like. I've let it go, we never use it, I just grill over there.......... and it's next on the list for a major upgrade.
Plan is to do a real cover, slant off the side of the house...carry it out about 3' past the retaining wall, metal roof, built-in outdoor kitchen/bar/prep space, fireplace of sorts, furniture, ceiling fan, lights, landscaping....the whole 9. Going to start this weekend by cleaning it all up/pressure washing and getting the frame started. Hope to have it done and ready to use by October.....but with the 6 month old, my lower back and several weekends already booked with plans.....we'll see. lol
Partially making this post so I feel like I have some sort of accountability and ill actually start on it. lulz

you do know it takes several thousand dollars to finish a 1400sf basement and that the **** doesnt just grow on trees, right?
or that maybe, while acquiring funds, deployed, while the house was rented, ffs any number of things, i wanted a TV up down there, possibly even *gasp* while working down there.
ive gotten asked this a few times and its amazing how many people cant think for themselves when it comes to this and literally have to ask why the TV is up.
tell me you've never remodeled or finished a basement / house without telling me youve never remodeled a basement or house.Bills crew / Bud Light crew / extra onion crew / M&P crew / lcp2 crew / ap3 crew / Trump crew / mcdonalds app crew / cat-owner crew / Tin Cup crew / self-checkout crew / country music crew / RIP snails crew
