Angels Share / intoxicated may depend on what the smell like wearing and longevity. Same thing with Apple Brandy. It's really a 3 way tie for me with intoxicated taking the crown right now. I dunno what it is with my nose but boozy frags (everything ive had from CH Men Prive to Layton) generally have an undertone of graphite or pencil lead (only way i can describe it) to them. This one....didnt. And had a hint of cinnamon. Makes me want to toss on a black turtle neck, some monk straps, and a blazer.

I have tried a few BTV and to be honest i wasn't wowed for the price associated. Granted it may have been the ones i tried its been awhile but i do recall them lasting a long time. Was maybe the blue or green sapphire one. Haven't tried anything from the Tiziana Terenzi going to have to get some samples.

Yeah pap is demented. And rich. But yeah those Boadiceas are super expensive. There's one that reviewers have been talking about called Valiant but I saw the price and noped right out. It's supposedly really good though.

Definitely try out some Terenzi though. I tried two from them and was impressed by their blends. That Velorum is top tier levels of beauty man. Leans a bit fem but God damn it's pretty.

It's really hard to describe. It must be some ingredient most boozy frags have in them that the wires in my brain just get crossed with. But my first boozy frag was CH Men Prive and it was almost immediate. My brain goes "graphite??" Same with even Layton. There isnt nearly as much, but it's there. These, completely different. Think ill wear some intoxicated tonight and try and impregnate the bar.

Regarding Boadecia, I really didn't care for a ton of their fragrances. Some of them are ok, but a LOT are redundant within the line. I wasn't a fan of either of the popular sapphires (Blue or Green) as they have a weird dry down/base. For those of you who like cinnamon in fragrances, check out Amethyst. If forced to pick one favorite, ill probably lean towards Love Poison and then Valiant (have to be in the mood for it though).

Yeah bro thanks for the writeup. You know I prefer my smooth creamy fragrances that have a solid and stable drydown. I like things that consistently work a certain way. This house seems to be one of those that uses certain ingredients to smell niche as fuk and while I understand that concept, the fragrance still needs to smell like something I want to have on myself for the day and not be second guessing myself.

I got Terres D'Hermes (Parfum) which smells so unique, it's like a sweet citrusy BBQ smell and I don't mean a strong heavy meat smell lol!

Also got another Givenchy Gentlemen, the white version. I'm not sure if it's the eau de toliette or cologne because their website says different than in person. It's a great clean linen smell, very aqua-ey.


They roped me in to "preordering" the items, gotta pick it up tomorrow but I get a discount and a samples bag .

The best things are the things we enjoy smelling and wearing. If you love it, which you clearly do then rock that chit. The new remake of Gentlemen Givenchy is amazing, pretty much loved it at first sniff.

Yes the TDH is great, I think the makers said the fragrance was the epitome of laying on a grass field on a summer night, gazing at the stars! I'll add that it also kinda symbolizes an aftermath to something momentous, and you're just smelling, like, victory!
