I got my crock pot last night and prepared chicken burritos.

    Threw in:

    A couple chicken breasts
    Jar of Salsa
    Packet of Taco Seasoning
    Chilli Powder
    Cayenne Pepper
    Frozen corn
    Can of black beans

Cooked on low for 8 hours. My house smelled so awesome. Woke up and shredded the chicken. Was so jooooicy!

Refridgerated, left for work/gym. When I came back I heated that chit back up, cooked some white rice, and threw it together on a tortilla and made a wrap. Only added lettuce and hot sauce. No cheese/sour cream cause I'm allergic.

Sooooo much hnnnnnnng. So flavorful, so low maintenance, I love my crock pot! I feel happier than a guy does when the new COD releases. Srs.

No water. The water from the chicken will come out in the cooking process.

The higher the temp (and the faster you cook it) the less likely it will be to turn out very tender. Plus, it seems like a large energy expenditure for both gas or electric stove.

    Just buy a slow cooker.

I'm about to experiment with a recipe.. just using some things in the pantry.

    2 chicken breasts
1 small can of diced green chiles
    1 can of diced tomatoes
    1 can zesty tomato bisque
    1 tbsp cumin
    1 tbsp onion salt

8 hrs on low.... going to add rice with about 2 hours left. will report back
So if the Devil wear Prada
    Adam and Eve wear nada
I'm in between, but way more fresher

    try this super easy recipe

-heat up some oil in a pan, butter.. coconut oil, EVOO etc medium high heat or such
-take a slice of cut bread and make a decent whole in the middle
-when hot place bread into fry

-crack a egg into the hole in middle of bread
    -wait 40sec-2 min and flip
-place a decently thick slice of cheddar on bread (u can get pre cut at store thats good/easy but i cut out like a whole slice (1 piece) of cheddar from the big black and diamond cheddar blocks naw mean
-at this point lower heat and wait for cheese to melt a tiny bit on the corners but idk if it matters (i cover the frying pan with a cover from these pans in my kitchen to melt the cheese with like steam)

-i then flip it and its now cheddar side down and now the cheddar fries and omfg this is so fuking orgasmic

i use whole wheat bread its low carb, decent protein from egg and cheese and decent fat. add a piece of meat or extra proteinz and maybe some fruit or veggie killer iffym tasty as fuk meal would eat again omfg the cheddar.
    ]
pan looked hot, wasnt hot enough, put bread on pan and poored my eggs in hole, bread was curvy and eggs flowed under bread and out underneath into the rest of pan. then it got torn when i flipped, added my cheese, melted a bit and flipped again. apparently the oil on my pan soaked into bread so that the cheese fried directly to pan

    setting off my SMOKEALARM

    am i doing it right

idk if its been posted yet, but add a packet of ranch dressing powder to the buffalo chicken recipe = even better. It thickens the sauce a bit and adds some flavor. Made that some time last year and devoured that chicken in two days, although my anus did not approve of all that hot sauce lol.

    so its;
    chicken
    hot sauce
    ranch dressing packet

    other good things:

Making carnitas using a pork shoulder. You can make them just like chipotle. Make these often and make my own burrito bowls and tacos etc. so good

Just started this bish, even got the Franks wing sauce that OP posted about.
I will be giving pep talks to my angus while cooking it all day.
We'll see if that helps the peppering process.

I just made with this 1.5 lb of chicken tenderloin and half the bottle of sauce. Do you think the shredding will work with tenderloins and how long do you think it will take? (4 hrs im guessing)

I'd still cook it for 8 hours. The time it takes to cook is pretty independent of the amount of stuff you have in the pot.
