The La Antiguedad line is solid for a good price. If you like the No.9, you'll like these as well. The LP Undercrowns are also good for a better price. Undercrowns were supposedly created by the rollers of the No.9 because the rollers were smoking too many of the 9's while rolling them. I normally keep a few of each on hand at all time when I am in the mood for a stick I know I will enjoy and that is consistent every time.
Edit: In need of a smoke and its looking like next week is supposed to be back in the single digits for highs so I need to get that in tonight or tomorrow. Have a T52 I received on Christmas that should be ready to roll.Last edited by ThatOneBigKid; 12-30-2016 at 11:48 AM.

I completely agree with this assessment.
Haven't smoked in a month. Been wicked cold her in MN. Too cold to even fire one up in the garage. However, I just accepted an offer for a new job over the weekend so a buddy and I will be going to the local lounge to celebrate on Saturday.

i realize it is not as good as a full cigar, but i personally really like cigarillos and minis. for me, having a good, full cigar, sitting down for an hour or even 2 on a nice day, and taking my time smoking it, is a great experience. i dont always have that much time, and buying them regularly can get pricey. i also dont really like to relight my cigars. some say its the right way, but i feel it changes the flavor to relight it. its not always bad, but i find it's most enjoyable to smoke the whole way through. so, minis or cigarillos, can still be good quality - and you can get a perfect 15-20 minute smoke, or even more or less depending how fast you go, for an affordable price. a pack of montecristo cigarillos is very well priced and they are very good. i dont even mind the cheap stuff like petersons, and i;ll often keep a pack in my door. some of the higher ends like uhh cohibas minis are terrible though, even worse than the cheap ones. so it's definitely hit or miss but i recommend cigar smokers to look into minis. they are not un cool! i also find smoking in the winter isn't bad at all as long as it isn't windy, which makes it a bit uncomfortable, and if its not windy and theres a fire, thats just as good as a nice day.

Couples months ago I stopped into a cigar shop with two cigars in mind that I wanted to purchase, ended up walking out with a couple cigars I had never heard of after talking and taking recommendations with one of the associates. There was one stick that the associate said that she would spend her own money on and if I didn't like it she would personally refund me. So, I ended up taking the sticks home and smoked her personally recommended one and was blown away by how amazing it was. It was a Robert Caldwell Blind Man's Bluff. Not sure if any of you have given this one a try, but if you are in your local shop looking to give something a try I would recommend this one. Needless to say, I have returned to that shop and purchased that stick again.

I have had one of these and although I didn't think it was super good, I did enjoy it.
Get the medium. It will help you humidor's RH level back out faster after it has been opened. I have a full pound of beads in my 200 ct and that thing never moves from 65%. More than necessary here is not a bad thing.Tolerance and apathy are the last virtues of a dying society. ~ Aristotle

Literally doing the same to another of mine. I have one with a glass top and two windows in the front and I am convinced that those windows are leaking RH because I have to reload my beads constantly. I re-seasoned a 50ct I wasn't using and moved my sticks in so I can seal up the windows and re-season the bigger, drafty one.

Smoked a Rocky Patel Edge Tor**** last night while mulling around in the garage. Was a good smoke for the first third and then the draw got so tight I couldn't even get any smoke out of it anymore. Not sure if tar built up and clogged it or what. Shame though, only got about 20 minutes out if it and it was tasting pretty good.
Has been nice and warm (in the 30s) here in MN so I hopefully will be getting some smoking time in this week.Tolerance and apathy are the last virtues of a dying society. ~ Aristotle

All my free cash has been diverted to stocking up my fishing gear, so haven't been buying smokes at all. Humi is still about half stocked so it should be all good through the winter.
Going to the local B&M/Lounge Saturday. Will be smoking something nice in celebration of the new job. Have a T52 sitting in my humi that is begging to be smoked.Tolerance and apathy are the last virtues of a dying society. ~ Aristotle
