Between the kids being sick, end of the school year with all the awards ceremonies and parties coupled with doc appts, and company this weekend I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off.
I completely understand, how things get less hectic.
hope things get less hectic for you also and good luck with the job search. It's really cool that you're learning to box. It's always been pretty appealing for me, but mom wasn't on board when I was a teen and hubby's not on board now. ahhhh weell.
congrats....unbelievable. and I was proud of my 1 rep 25 lb curl yesterday. lol
hope it feels better soon....keep at it and you'll get there. you are really doing a great job.
just thing of struttin' around on vacation.
keep at it, you'll get there.Hi, I'm Crystal :)

This weekend I've had company....went out with hubby and his brother....only had a diet coke. I don't even think about ordering a beer or mix drink at all now...just natural to order a diet coke. yaaay!
I was also able to resist the urge to gorge on ribs yesterday. I had only one.
Today my mom and I used a calculator thing online to figure our bf%...she wanted to see her progress (used the same one she used when she began losing weight) I know it's not accurate, but the shocker was that my body fat % was only 2% higher than hers and she's only 153 lbs and my height. She's a loooot smaller than me. It just reiterated for me that I am doing the right thing for me. My mom was shocked at the difference in my body since she saw me a month ago. Whoo hoo!
Today I took the time to figure out my mom's cals and macros for her...and once again try to talk to her about the importance of strength training and protein. (she said today she only gets about 50 grams of protein a day on a good day.) Anyway, I took the time out to do that and she left the paper here....I guess it wasn't that important to her.
Tomorrow starts my summer workout schedule (going to gym before hubby goes to work...or even wakes up for that matter). I'm happy about that though....I love those early mornings at the gym.
Keep at it everyone...we are almost to the end. Let's finish strong.Hi, I'm Crystal :)

Had a higher calorie weekend, but I believe I stayed under my TDEE for these two days. Estimated 2000 calories Friday, 2400 calories yesterday, and 2200 calories today.
Right back to it tomorrow. I'm starting two workouts a day once school lets out(Wednesday), one in the morning and one in the evening. Will see how it goes.Where I want to be: 220 lbs 10% bodyfat

Had a carb and sugar filled weekend and retaining water like a mofo! I had 2 long runs over the weekend and that always makes me crave carbs and sugar afterwards. Scale shows 172 (up from 168) and I was still in deficit all weekend. Damn that water weight! Long week ahead to burn off all that garbage and work on a better solution for my cravings as i have a lot of runs coming up.

You're awesome, Crystal!
Week four away from the gym. The doctor said it's tendonitis. It's been hurting a lot less but I can still feel it. There really isn't much I can do about it but let it rest and heal.
This competition is about to end for me. We're going to Palm Springs for our wedding anniversary on Thursday night so I'm going to submit my weigh-in early and I doubt my last weigh-in is going to be any better than that after vacation. Regardless, I'm pretty happy with my performance over the last three months. I just wish I could have kept training the whole way.
Eh. I've got all Summer to polish it up!

I may have it in my right wrist, or arthritis, or carpel tunnel. I've been to 2 different docs and have another appt with a specialist tomorrow to get it looked at and get an answer. I have to use a wrist brace when lifting, and cannot do any pushups unless I use stands because my wrist wont bend fully. I really hope they come up with something tomorrow that will get rid of this pain and allow me to fully flex my wrist again.

Super late on the weigh in, the wedding was on Saturday so I've been running around non stop since mid week getting everything together. It was all worth it though, and it went beautifully.
Kept up with my workouts for the most part, though calories counting was non existent. I even made it in to the gym on the day of the wedding to blow off energy and get in my back day before I got dressed.
Still at 200, hoping the honeymoon doesn't do too much damage this week. Doubt I'll make this week's weigh in either, so I just want to say thanks to everyone for making this such a fun and motivational journey, and I'll see you in the June-August thread!“It is no use saying, 'We are doing our best.' You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary."

Hang in there man. I was hella miserable the last two weeks because I couldn't work out. I can't imagine 4 as I like to go 5-6 times a week. Especially with summer approaching. Summer in NYC is AWESOME! and this would be my first summer in the shape I'm in. I had it all planned out.
But like you said, you got summer to polish it up and you're still ahead of the game.March 1st -June 1st Weight Loss:

Here is the unofficial spreadsheet. The bold numbers indicate that the entry is just a repeat of the entry before it because there is no current entry for that field. The names in red have missed three consecutive weigh-ins and should be gone. The names in yellow have missed two consecutive weigh-ins. If I have anything wrong, please let me know.

my deadlift seems to be progressing really fast. was 135 last monday, 150 friday, and 160 today. tried mixed grip and it seems to help a lot more. bench is 90 and squat is 100 though /:
also, progress pic update. barely a difference between 190 and 184 but i think i can see mid-side getting a little smaller/straighter
