I can't believe people are actually thinking Europe would stand a chance. Aside from the obvious points already discussed (ie: vastly superior american naval and air forces, ability to transport hundreds of thousands of soldiers anywhere in the world in less than 72 hours), the US has a remarkable advantage politically.
Who would command the European army? Who makes strategical decisions? Do you actually think Merkel would allow Putin to command German troops? To make tactical choices? Is russia going to adhere to a English or French commander? Political discord would cripple them, especially when individual country's start to see losses. What's best for an individual country would quickly outweigh defending the continent as a whole.

Without nukes?
Europe would ****ing steamroll the US.
It's actually frightening to think about. Imagine the British, Germans, Russians, Italians, French etc combining and facing the rather feminine Americans? Former enemies combined in taking down the American New World Order.
I don't think the average Amerifat is made for war. They are not strong enough mentally.
Russia is a European country. Geographically it spans both Europe and Asia but its people are European and Putin would definitely defend his fellow Europeans against the American War Machine.

Ok so Imagine 10+ armies who all speak different languages combining, with tons of officers, NCO's, Political leaders all trying to organize a massive army. You know how difficult that would make operations, let alone the crazyness of figuring out the Chain of command because leaders from all nations would be intertwined with other armies etc due to Rank and seniority etc... where the USA is already set in stone ready to go. Ill also add the fact that all those countries use different equipment so the supply and logistical demands would be insane on a combined army like that.

Lol ok. As someone pointed out Europe would bicker amongst themselves over leadership, Europe would not be a unified force as America is, brb were fluent in one language, are all of your countries fluent in a single language? Brb Germany, France, Russia, and the uk will all cooperate. Too much bad blood still, too many euro dudes in tight jeans as well.

no offense, but
umad britain lost its near-entire world empire over the last few hundred years and is now nothing more than a tourist destination with an old fart queen who exerts no power , a country where your prime minister has bent every which angle an American president demands over the last 20 years, a society that has been assfukked and schemed in the Napoleanic Wars and other conlficts over their history by the Rothschild banking dynasty, a place so ingrained with liberalism that muslims have taken over your greatest city (london) and the police can only carry around toy guns?
yeah, you madLast edited by nontansto; 06-06-2012 at 05:03 PM.

All of Europes advanced modern aircraft COMBINED are a drop in the bucket compared to US air power... you would be steamrolled. The most advanced fighter you have is the Typhoon (An awesome aircraft on par with US planes). HOWEVER there are only 300 of them in existence spread out thru Europe. The US has 1000+ fighters capable of launch from our carriers any time any day. We also have 4,500+ F16s capable of launching from the US refueling mid flight over the ocean and then attacking Europe. Not to mention our 22 B-2 Stealth Bombers. Yah you guys dont have those.
Thats not all we have either just what I looked up recently. Sorry but yall would be fcked if this ever happened lol.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If it flies, floats or ****s you're better off renting.

What are you talking about?
There have always been alliances throughout history with multiple countries.
Napoleon, one of the greatest generals of all time was stopped by a coalition of different nations with different languages and different military formations.
Nice try, but this is not a problem you Canadian scum. You will be the first to get invaded by the US in this war lol. You have no say in the matter.
This is just more evidence of North Americans knowing absolutely nothing about history lol.

Oh I forgot it took over a decade and the Seventh Coalition to finally defeat him after years and years of failure and trial and error. Oh and lets not forget the tiny tiny detail about how the Russian winter decimated almost his entire Army but your right of course the US would clearly have the same issues that Napoleon did 200 years ago, and would defiantly not win with today's lightning war doctrines against Europe which would still take a very long time to organize all of what I stated earlier, but you are right im just a dumb North American who knows nothing about history.

Which had nothing to do with the fact these nations spoke a different language, but was a result of Napoleon being a great Military tactician.
Amerifats would suffer the same fate. Mad much?
I'm laughing hard at the deluded stupidity of the Americans here. Your whole country almost had a giant heart attack because of 9/11. You're just not a particularly brave nor strong group of people. Don't take it to heart. The US takes out any nation 1 vs 1 but the entire European continent would make meat balls out of you. Never forget it.

1. Ok so the US has great military tacticians so you are saying Europe would lose then finally you agree. Also it had everything to do with the fact those nations spoke different languages because each of them had their own interests at heart the whole war just like they would in a war today also it took them a long time to organize with only a few people needing to communicate between nations back then. I find it hilarious that you believe that the language barrier wouldn't be an issue.
brb only a few people had to command back then
brb no voice or radio communications back then
brb the entire army was organized so differently that you didn't need to worry about it back then
2. You said earlier that I was Canadian scum and now you say I am American and its my country that had a heart attack because were not strong people lol

And to the brahs out there who think China would support Europe, I would like to reminds you that the united states is chinas LARGEST investment. They have sunk an astronomical amount of money buying treasury bonds... You really think they'd risk their investment with a conflict?
It's really quite remarkable how chinas economic prowess has made them rather impotent when it comes to the United States. It's like this: if you owe china 1 billion dollars, china owns you. But If you owe china 1 trillion dollars, you own china. China has so much money invested in the American economy, it would be imprudent for them to engage in open conflict with the US. The united states is, after all, chinas largest market.

So according to this post we'd be pretty fuked if we ever get invaded by an alien force, not that we ever stood a chance against a civilization with the technological capabilities to get to us.
This should shut up anyone who thinks we could ever stand a chance bs an alien force, lulz pretty random I know.300 Forever

Why would language be a barrier you ****ing simpleton? This isn't America, we are multilingual in Europe. It's 2012, get with the times.
And Europe has great military tacticians also, nullifying your point.
I'm literally laughing at how ****ing stupid you are.
The European states of America can remain China's largest investment.
This is the average US citizen. lol.
