I think its meant to but I just keep them seperate. Samsung health does have a food log but its pretty poor compared to myfitnesspals.
Theres also an app for Samsung watches for myfitnesspal which is useless for logging and nutrient tracking but it has a nice little widget to let you know how many calories you have had.
I don't see the point of having it sync if you have to go into the app anyway to log everything.

New Google Fit has potential, I love the rework but some things are missing I hope get added back in in fute updates, particularly the ability to customize the home screen, nutrition consumption display, and there is no longer a widget. Give them full credit for overhaul and I love the heart points but let's not remove features.

Ok, here's my 46mm Galaxy Watch. Samsung is currently offering one color for this size and 3 colors on the smaller 42mm size.
Spoiler!
I thought its big for my tiny wrist but its actually just the same as my analog watches. I guess I'm just conscious since its my very 1st smartwatch lol.
Here's my initial comment about the watch:- Build quality is really great.
- I would have gotten the all black if they have it on this size.
- Tizen is fast.
- Display is also crisp and bright even under the sun. It's Amoled anyway. I was at the beach in jersey yesterday and there's no issue reading the screen under bright sun. Also wore this swimming in salt water already.
- I like the rotating bezel so much. This is one factor why I waited and didn't get the Ticwatch Pro.
- The watch UI great , the Galaxy Wear app is meh. They gave more space for app store (whichin the Wear App than detailed info about the GW's connection to the app. However...
- All the info that I am looking for is in Samsung Health. Steps, Sleep Tracking, Heart Rate, Calories, etc. Everything that I had in the Fitbit app except for the community. I hope samsung add the community part in the future.
- Food log doesn't sync with MFP. Or maybe I just can't find a way how.
- Battery for this is bigger than the smaller 42mm that's why I chose this. So far, the longer I got is 2 days from a full charge with Always On Display turned On, Sleep Tracking on and HR sensor working continuously. I'll try next cycle how long I'll get with AOD off and HR sensor checking only every 10 mins. I prefer the Sleep Tracking on all the time as I like the idea of knowing how long and how good I slept.
- I dont know if there is a limit on the widget. It looks like I can add everything lol.
- I have not tested this on workouts yet but I'll do tonight.
- I have 15 days to return this but so far, I'm happy with it. We'll see.

Ticwatch Pro
Lol my wife bought me this. Got this last night.
Spoiler!
Now I might just return my Galaxy Watch.
What I like about GW more:- S-Health just have more when it comes to info, UI layout, intuitiveness, etc compared to the current Google Fit.
- Rotating Bezel
- Sleep Tracking - none on Ticwatch Pro.
- Watch faces in the store seems to be better than what you can find from Google Play Store. Maybe I just don't have enough time to explore yet.
What I like so far about TWP:- Wear OS have more apps. A lot more apps than Tizen/Samsung store.
- I have dalily apps that I frequently use and its not in GW but on Wear OS (Hangout, Google Music, Viber, etc).
- Build just seem better. GW build is already premium but TWP just feel more compact, tougher. Both watch has this stainless steel finish where TWP is more like brushed stainless finish which I like more than the glossy one on GW. I also like the black metal portion on TWP which is matte and has this grainy/sandy texture to it.
- The hardware button on this add more character than the more subtle ones in GW.
- TWP body is smaller but screen is slightly bigger.
- Screen resolution is also higher.
- Out of the box, stock strap is better on TWP. Pleather and silicon layered. Pleather on outer and silicon on inner. Not a huge factor though since both can be replaced easily.
- Dual layer screen. LCD 1st layer for the regular more battery saving screen and Amoled as 2nd layer for the Smart screen.
What I noticed on both:- GW advertised up to 5 days battery and TWP advertised from 6-30 days (depending on what mode you use, smart, dumb or essential mode). Most I got for GW so far is close to 2 full days while I'm 14 hours from full on TWP and I'm already at 55%. But to be fair to both, they are new to me so I'm always on it playing around, exploring and learning so maybe it will get better.
- Both have amoled but Samsung has Super Amoled.
Here's an item by item comparison I found online:
Spoiler!
Edit:
Something is throwing me off about TWP again though. It's SoC is an old tech. Snapdragon Wear 2100 is built on 28nm tech while Exynos 9 is a 10 nm tech. Its 2013 vs 2018 tech.
I already noticed some speed difference and some stutters on my TWP.
Now I'm leaning toward choosing the GW.
Edit 2:
Already packed the TWP ready for return to Amazon lol. I'll keep the GW and maybe try Wear OS in the future when they get an updated hardware.Last edited by jinda628; 08-29-2018 at 05:38 PM.

Well I'm wrong on this.
I was able to make MFP sync with my SHealth.
So all my tracking (steps, heartrates, calorie expenditure estimates) comes from my Galaxy Watch and is sent to SHealth. Then my food log now autosyncs with SHealth as well. I can see the log in realtime in SHealth now the moment I log them in MFP.Steam - jinda28

I've been out of the loop, anything significant coming with the 3? I bought a first gen Pixel to keep in my car (hooks into Android Auto) and it's a piece of chit half the time. I thought Pie would fix it, nope. If I could get over not using Samsung Pay, I might make the leap to a Pixel 3--I love that they get updates quick. My Note8 is still on 8.0.0. Drives me nuts.

Slight upgrades all around, nothing significant has been leaked except it'll finally get wireless charging apparently.
I loved my first Pixel, never had an issue, what's wrong with yours? Why didn't you get something cheaper for Android Auto? My father my get something for that purpose, I told him to just get a phone for under $100. Am I missing something?
