He's the best coach the franchise has seen. If the team is in a position to claw for a playoff spot, I don't mind him

But a couple posters on HF nailed it. He lacks foresight completely. He'll do anything in his power to win the next game if it means playing vets all night and running Smith into the ground, with no regard for the future

The exact opposite you want in a team thats rebuilding. Chayka's his enabler too so the team will just spin their wheels for the next 3 years and keep bringing in vets "with a good corsi"

whenever i watch the kings its like i'm watching the jets. only difference is the kings aren't a disaster defensively and have respectable goaltending

both teams are hard to stomach in the o-zone, brb weak shots from the point with no screen, brb weak shots off the cycle from the outside. makes every goalie look like a vezina winner. also both teams PP's are just LOLworthy

how long can goaltending bail you out? we're talking bobrovsky and mcelhinney here yknow? as much as i like him, bobrovsky is i think playing over his head at the moment and you can't give up 46 shot games too often and find success in the playoffs
