I have one on the forum now. I uploaded through bodyspace like an hour ago and i guess it just got updated.

Nothing else i can do on my side really, anyone else use a different way of uploading an avi?

I will probably eventually add permissions to get the avi from the main site since a lot of people seem to be having this problem

Yes please firefox version, I don't like to use this spyware ridden chrome crap. I can't accept all the security and privacy issues with that browser. Will rep and donate for ff version!

Yes, please put that on suggestions! I know sum other miscers are experiencing the same problem but since it's more of an aesthetic issue than a functional issue they aren't bringing it up much., Just for me personally, i like the stuff i use to be nice looking and an avi would be nice.

it only loads the last 20 so it doesn't cram your news feed on initalization

But then if I click on "read posts - show", all the previous ones are there, so they're not cleared (deleted). I'm just wondering how many posts will be stored in the app history and whether or not this will cause problems.

it shouldnt cause any problems but you can go

settings -> accounts -> refresh accounts

it will delete/clear any cached posts and information. there will always be atleast 20 posts cached though because the initialize is setup to get your last 20 posts no matter what.

Mine sometimes glitches and shows 400+, kind of funny; just have to click 'read' and it clears up though.

It doesn't list them all, the little bert icon will just say 400 on it, weird but not a big deal; only happens occasionally (usually when I switch computers).

it needed approval from the web developers that it would not slow down/impact the forum negatively. after talking to the mods, forum buddy got approval and I was able to put the thread back up.

Have the web devs given you some good tips on how to make your extension play nice with the site? That could go well with other forums that you eventually could support with your extension.

yeah I sent my code to ForumSentinel and he sent it to the web devs, I didn't get to talk to them one-on-one unfortunately. I would of loved to pick their brains a little.

Hmm... Well I have now come to the understanding that a neg gif from my photobucket is extremely popular on the misc, lulz.

I saw 20 notifications instantly, and all of them were of a Negged gif from like 3 years ago that still gets used I guess.

And so I also now realize that the app works by searching for strings of text that match the username; proudmanlet will love this.
