diet stuffs
no school yay!
oats, whey, milk, banana
whey, milk, lucky charms, kix, koala crisp
sweet potato, turkey, lettuce, bowl of kashi heart to heart, koala crisp, almonds, and a baby red apple
thanksgiving turkey (smoked. tasty stuff) between ezekiel bread with tomato/basil hummus, raspberries
fat free cottage cheese, kashi heart to heart, pecans, currants, raspberries
more thanksgiving turkey with brown rice, broccoli, and a few almonds
sludge later - 2 tablespoons PB and scoop casein
total: 2750 calories. + or - a few because i'm not sure exactly how many cals were in the thanksgiving turkey. i looked it up and found smoked mostly white meat turkey to have about 45 cals per ounce, i had 3 ounces each time so i counted it as 135 cals each time
and yeah i ate clean on thanksgiving i know it is lame, and there was/is plently of tasty things that i could have some of.. but i just can't bring myself to do it

No worries man, you are still young.
I skipped lots of good meals in the past, but as you age, you notice that your gains arn't hindered at all by eating dirty a few times a week.
It takes a few years to figure this out, but once you find the balance, you'll be better off. Right now, I'm proud of you for keeping clean, it is one of the hardest things to do. Just know that in the future, things change (especially when you go to college )

Dont worry about eating dirty food man, especially at your weight, just eat up
I know how you feel though, after dieting 17 weeks for my competition and counting calories the whole time, i couldint bring myself to stop and the day after my contest i was counting calories with 200 more than i was dieting on LOL
Iv learned to chill out now, big time, I have a cheat meal each week where i literally eat to failure, probs over 3000cals in one sittingAspire to climb as high as you can dream

weigh in
weight last saturday after bathroom before eat - 120.4
weight today after bathroom before eat - 120.6
+ .2 pounds in seven days
so i guess my huge weight jump last week was mostly water weight. now things have slowed. if i have gained .2 pounds this week then i have been roughly 100 calories over maintenence every day. the only thing i am going to change is cut off 5 minutes of cardio after every workout as it is getting colder anyway, but stick with the same calories. next week if i have gained less than .4 pounds i'll give the cals another bump
just takin things step by step, you know? i mean i think i feel a little bigger and have gotten a little stronger so i'll stick with what i have been doing for just one more week

just curious, if you seem to be eating soo clean, why do you choose to eat a bowl of cereal? and not a candy bar? or a bowl of ice cream..
Hope you had a great turkey day man.I used to Eat like a Bird and Train like a Pussy... Now.... All i do is Eat, and I push my body to its limits, Again...and Again... and... Again...Cuz i CAN!

i don't count my whey/milk/cereal bowls as dirty. i am a person who believes in a mix of quick-and-slow-carbs imediately post workout. take lucky charms for example. the marshmallows are sugar and dextrose (fast). other than that, it is basically just 'whole grain oats' (slow) and some food coloring. i havent seen any negative effects from doing this so why not.
the cereals i eat at other times of the day are very clean, kashi cereals are all good carbs, shredded wheat is just that - shredded wheat, and even the koala crisp stuff i eat may not seem clean but it is - it is mainly brown rice flour and a little cocoa which gives it the color.
hope you had a good thanksgiving too bro!

If I were you, I'd omit everything above the bold in this quote. You gotta take the scale out of the equation, and not be so gung-ho on it. I hardly ever weigh myself. Don't make it a numbers thing, make it about how you look and feel. Body weight is something that is very tricky and can easily deceive someone in how they view their progress. You have to take into account things such as metabolism, not to mention the process your body undergoes accumulating muscle and dealing with excess fat. Besides, you're eating more AND working out...totally contrary when you think about it, lol. It will be a slow process, but you will bulk up. My advice would be to stop taking things in ".2 lbs per week" and just keep doing what you've been doing, be consistent for 3 months, THEN weigh yourself.
I've only weighed myself 5 times this whole year, and two of them were when I went to the doctor. Suffice to say, I think you've seen my progressI want to work hard and do my best in life so I never have to ask myself "what if".
