Thanks, man. I'll get a workout in today, so it was just one day without lifting. I'll hit that PL gym by her house either on Friday or sometime next week. They train Mon, Wed, Fri at certain times, so it's tricky to make it but I will. If I can go in whenever after the first time training with the team, then I'll probably get a membership. Only 10 EUR a month.
I don't take pictures on vacation. I like to just enjoy the experience and figure enough pictures have been taken at these places. When I take a chick, then I usually have hundreds of pictures after, but this time I went solo.
You learn something new every day. I crush metal and vag, but the IT stuff on the side is accurate.
Haha!

Here are some shots of the places I went to on Tenerife.
Beach in El Medano. That town also has the best ice cream I've ever had, including ones in Italy.
Another beach close to Santa Cruz in the northern part of the island. I didn't like this one as much, but it's more aesthetic on pictures I suppose.
This is a tiny town called Los Abrigos with a restaurant that makes incredible paella. The small harbor looks pretty cool too.
Most of the trip was just relaxing at the beach. A bit of sightseeing and plenty of eating and boozing it up. I'll go back at some point when it's not as hot there and check out things that aren't beaches. They have a national park that's supposed to be badass.Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883

I've never been to Ireland or Scotland (or England for that matter), but I think that would be an awesome place to go as well, when it's not too cold. The Canary Islands are convenient for Europeans, because it's still warm enough to go swimming in the ocean there, when it's already too chilly in Europe. I think living in the US, you have even nicer places closer than that though.
Oh, you're THAT guy. Haha. Most people don't know the difference, so I just call it all ice cream like an imbecile. This was gelato as well. Mindblowingly good, so I assume they're Italians.Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883

My cousin is over in Ireland now and posting pics like crazy. Really jelly of his Guiness brewery tour.
Sure in the US we have the outer banks, myrtle beach, Florida, etc...but, IMO, the Med is just something totally different and awesome, plus they all think I'm a local LOL.
Yea gelatto is vastly different from ice cream, I think oince you have had gelatto you'll never go back to regular ice creamOG

IN on that Gelatto time.
Also, Ireland is my #1 place to visit. Have a friend who just got back and had TONS of pics, including the guinness tour. I'm not sure if its because it's been my fav beer for a loooong time, or the beautiful green scenery, but I've wanted to go to Ireland for like 10 years.Don't stop hustlin'

Damn you tied my 1RM PR on OHP--nice job man! The rep looked smooth, especially considering you did a couple heavy singles before that PR rep.

I think I'm good for a little bit more.
Yeah, I hope so! Would be nice to have my OHP move a bit again. I'm gonna raise intensity over the next couple weeks, then add a belt and see how lifts have improved.

Thanks.
Gonna be a while, but it should end up being pretty nice eventually.
Will do, boss!
Separating off a room in the garage that will be the home gym. It'll be way less messy, heated, etc. Right now I'm just clearing the space where the room will be though.
Flying to Sardinia on Monday for another week of vacation. Soon I'll have to question if I even lift.Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883

Hey man, what is your strategy/plan when deciding when to, and when not to, wear a belt? I am gradually decreasing the frequency of wearing my belt, although I still belt-up for heavy singles, triples, and 5s.

I used to do it like that and it's a solid approach for how you train I'd say. You're having great success with it!
I go for long periods of beltless training, which I guess you can call building blocks. When I want to max out lifts, the time period to do it is usually planned. The goal is to belt up for 2-3 weeks to get used to it (at the same time movements in training get more specific and assistance is reduced to bare minimums) and then max out.
I have seen a massive difference between belting up all the time and only belting up to hit maxes like that (plus the buildup to them and getting used to the belt again), but this is anecdotal evidence at best so I would never claim it's the way to train for everyone.
On another note, I haven't even lifted in the last week. Back to it tomorrow! Sardinia was awesome. I'd recommend it to anyone.Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883
