I used to have a 30" pantwaist and about a 27-28 natural waist. No abs and I disappeared if I turned sideways but damn I was thin.

Hey guys - this has def become my fav forum on bb.com. Just for intros sake I'm Jason from CO. Anyway on to the BSing...
Anyone seenu Pain and Gain with Mark Wahlberg? The wife and I watched it today. I thought it was really funny. All the characters were portrayed as moronic meat head lifters from the mid 90s. Saw a few ivankos splattered throughout the movie. I'd give it a B▪█──────█▪ Equipment Crew #66 ▪█──────█▪

Good for you for helping your friend/coworker out. I have a friend that has been training with me off and on for over a year now and he has lost 80 lbs. and is much healthier.
As far as the stomach flu goes.....my whole family had it. We all died from both ends. My daughter brought it home from preschool on a Friday, wife had it on a Monday, and I had it Tuesday. 48 straight hours of toilet and trash can love. Followed by 3 days of recovery.
Good luck[II]---[II] Equipment Crew #49 [II]---[II]

It's just that time of year, everybody's sick. Hope you guys and the families recover soon. My wife and I have had colds, which is annoying but not nearly as bad as what you guys have been dealing with. A sick baby is a whole other issue though...
Nice job helping out your coworker, hope he can keep up with the lifting. I sometimes wish I had someone to lift with, though I don't think my habit of lifting at midnight (or later) would work very well with a partner.▪█───█▪ York Barbell Club #47 ▪█───█▪ Ivanko Barbell Crew #41 ▪█───█▪ ▪[M]====[6]▪ #7 ▪[M]====[6]▪

Any computer geeks know where I can get a new macbook topcover assembly for a good price? I have an old A1181 Macbook that isn't powering on. I removed the topcover and everything except the keyboard and power button works fine if I short the pins for the power connector. So I think I just need a new topcover assembly. The best prices that I've found are around $45 from China or $65 from the US. There are used ones on eBay but I'm weirded out by the thought of ending up with something that had been used extensively in the masterbatorium of the previous owner's house.

I'm not exactly sure what a mac "topcover" is.
However....and without much real thought....
It seems that a new one that doesn't have dried spunk on it is a bargain at $45...... even if the used one is hand delivered.
LoL.... "hand delivered".... lol, I crack myself up.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #4 ▪█─────█▪

I have to be one seriously bored mofo to venture into the Misc. I'd rather park my ass in front of the TV and watch Transporter for 89765th time.

Yah..I spent a little more and bought a new one... it's not worth the risk of getting a STD from the internet. Coincidentally that's also one of the reasons why i avoid Misc.
This is my macbook without the topcover. In order to power on, I have to short two pins (arrow) with a screwdriver.

Page 2 bump.
Any thoughts on this kettlebell spotting technique?
It seems to me that it'll work okay for light weight, but what about when the weight gets heavy? It seems to me that you'd have to have a really strong spotter.
I'm considering rigging something up with a rope and belay device so that a family member can spot me when I try a TGU with 44kg or 48kg. I almost lost control of a 40kg kettlebell one time; that was kind of scary.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #35

The audio alone is enjoyable. . . .
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

I just got back from another visit to my friend and fellow forum member TJ Lynch's place on Long Island. A few more trips there and I will be tawking like a yankee. If you get a chance to visit his gym, do so. It is like Disney World for lifters. Would like to thank TJ and his wife Amy for letting me stay at their place and for taking me to the best Tex-Mex ever Del Fuegos.

Do any of you guys skip/jump rope at all? I stumbled across a skipping rope at home and have been putting it to work lately and it's been kicking my butt. I honestly never realized or remembered how hard it is.

Agreed! I don't enjoy running or biking on the spot. I've been humming and hawwing on buying a C2 Rower lately, but I think until I save up more money and have a little more space that skipping will work for now.
Haha, I think the rope I've been using lately is too short and occasionally it's not my fault when I mess up?! That's what I'll blame it on at least. I'm hoping it improves my agility and coordination a bit as well... Guess I'll be able to tell in time playing hockey and indoor soccer maybe?
Yeah, give it a try KB! Let me know how it works out.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #54 ▪█─────█▪
