yeah the stuff in the UK is a tad different. Also i'm surprised its in kansas, but that is awesome tho...thought it was only a east coast thing in the US.
In europe it is quite great, visited a few in the UK, a tad different in layout and style but still overall a great deal.

Green Day concert was great. impressive that they're still jumping all over the place and putting on such a good show at 45. they were pulling people on stage from the crowd. had a guy singing Longview; the dude's voice was cracking and he sounded awful. Billy Joe couldn't stop himself from laughing when the guy started, but the dude loved it and honestly if i had the chance to be on that stage i'd jump all over it; terrible singing voice and everything.
the highlight was when he pulled a 16 year old to play a few chords. the kid said he had been playing for about a year. after the song Billy Joe told the kid he could keep the guitar. i'm sure it was entirely planned that they pull a kid and give them a guitar, but man you gotta feel great for the kid and it's such a classy move by the band.
signing autographs, giving stuff away...this **** is so good for every spectator event. it grows so much good will with the next generation of fans.
our suite was to the side of the stage. we found some friends in another suite that was further away but with a better view. i liked the closer seats so i could see how people worked behind the scenes.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

Used to rock out on drums to Green Day lol.
- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

Nice Guys Finish Last, one of their best songs.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

i've always loved Green Day but this show reminded me just how much i listened to them in high school and college
when green day released their songs on Rock Band i was all over it. may not be as cool as playing them on real drums, but it was fun as hell
someone was a fan of Varsity Blues...such a good movie and a great song. I still remember being blown away at how good Nimrod was when it first came out. didn't think they'd be able to outdo Dookie. not sure which one is better, but they're both awesome.
It's just funny how Billie Joe can talk about how McDonalds was giving him the farts between two songs, and then talking about social issues and politics between others...
Definitely like they're older songs more than the newer, but it was a great showDomicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

you mean the chiefs first preseason game which is nothing more than a talent evaluation? we were watching on the suite's TV until they killed the power when the show started. glad to see Mahomes played well, but i still don't want to see him in a meaningful start until he's really ready. the organization said when drafting him that he wouldn't be ready to start this year, and despite the hype i don't need to see him start until next year. maybe some snaps during a blowout, but even if there's an injury, i don't want him out there in anyone's crosshairs.
