Merry Christmas!
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Long story on the school districts.... many variables.... many, many variables. We basically painted ourselves into a corner by open enrolling one child into a nearby district, but the other one couldn't get in this year. We had kids in two different districts and the instability was causing everyone a lot of grief. We found a comparable house in the district we wanted to be in and we went from not in the market to moved into the new house in less than 6 weeks..... rather hard to take in, to be honest.
The only reason I'm really able to accept it is because I think it was meant to happen..... it just happened too fast to be mad. Sad, yes.... but I think we're going down the path we're supposed to and we're going to be fine.
I didn't even notice the different colors in the gym. Obviously, I've got a lot on my plate right now and color schemes aren't high on the priority list! I'm probably going to repaint in there at some point though. Its a nice space with finished walls and good lighting....I'm going to try to make it really nice.... at some point.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #4 ▪█─────█▪

Merry belated Christmas to All ! I've had a bunch of different inlaws over and haven't been on for a few days, so this is the earliest moment I've had. I hope everybody got what they wanted.
Everything happens for a reason. This is a motto that my wife and I adopted a long time ago, and it has gotten us through some difficult times. Looking back on my life, from this moment, there is nothing I want to change.
I've always believed that if you change one little thing about your past, everything changes exponentially. I'm doing just fine at the moment, lol.
Living for your kids, and their education, is as noble a deed as one can do. Good luck with the new home Keet !"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do, than by the ones you did" Mark Twain

At risk of stereotyping myself...
We are planning to purchase a mobile home as our next home. We plan to stay close to family as both sides live in the same city now.
Likely buy some acres from my folks and pull the trailer in there. More square footage per dollar, new, no headaches from building etc. Then I can spend more on my garage/gym man cave▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #56 ▪█─────█▪

As someone who has been there and done that, I'd strongly suggest looking at relatively new used ones, repos, or checking the local classifieds for people looking to give one away if you'll haul it off. They have NO resale value, and it will often cost you a crap-load of money to get rid of them. They depreciate faster than any item I've ever seen in my life. Srs.
Often, the expenses involved in getting one set up (down payment, septic tank, water lines/well, setup/tie down, skirting, etc) are higher than what you'd have to shell out to buy a small stick-built house. Make sure you do your research before making a [potentially expensive] decision."What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Yeah I'm still looking into it, luckily my mother has purchased one in the past. But I mean double wides today come with sheet rock...it's crazy how nice they are. Plus a lot of places here include hauling, setup/tie down, and heat pump installation in their price. The septic tank & skirting (I'm going to block it in) will be things to consider, of course the plot my parents have has an existing septic + water line dug already so if I do what I'm planning and trade in the existing double wide on the land towards the new one it'll save me some headache. Even if they only give 10k in trade in they'll come pick it up themselves.
But yeah more research is needed, I've got a $100 a square foot quote for new build, and really that shell shocked me a bit considering the ideal size is 1800 or so square feet.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #56 ▪█─────█▪

Thought this was interesting and helpful, especially for less-experienced lifters. I came across this article on reddit that discusses the best squat style based on anthropometry.
In the same vein, here's some stuff I've read previously on anthropometry and the best lifting styles back when I was deciding to switch from conventional to sumo deadlift (the Lousy Leverages articles cover more than just deadlift though).
http://articles.elitefts.com/trainin...one-structure/
http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_...verages_part_i
http://robertsontrainingsystems.com/...rages-part-ii/
Obviously it's not as cut and dry as relative proportions of arms/legs/torso entirely determining the "best" style for each lift, but after reading all this, I've come to the same conclusion that these articles pointed me towards given my long torso - I'm built for squatting but not conventional deadlift. Sumo felt much more natural to me pretty much as soon as I switched. That being said, my bench isn't great despite the fact that proficiency at squatting and benching tend to go hand in hand.▪█───█▪ York Barbell Club #47 ▪█───█▪ Ivanko Barbell Crew #41 ▪█───█▪ ▪[M]====[6]▪ #7 ▪[M]====[6]▪

Great deal on the Power Perfect 2.0s at adidas.com ($75, which is 50% off) Only bigger sizes available (11, 12, 13, 13.5, 14, 15). You can also get at least 15% off when you sign up for their emails. I was able to get 20% off with this code (EM20A974-0F1). Limited sizes available though (11, 12, 13, 13.5, 14, 15).

Dear god, just saw Silva blow up his leg. That was awful to watch - reminded me of Shaun Livingston's injury awhile back. What a tough way to lose, especially after the way their last fight ended, plus this could easily be the end of his career. Though it doesn't really change the fact he'll go down as one of the greatest MMA fighters ever.
The Rousey/Tate fight was entertaining, but it was pretty clear that Tate was outmatched. Her judo/arm bars are crazy.▪█───█▪ York Barbell Club #47 ▪█───█▪ Ivanko Barbell Crew #41 ▪█───█▪ ▪[M]====[6]▪ #7 ▪[M]====[6]▪

Lol @ Steelers getting trolled by KC.
San Diego looked horrid against backups I think the Bengals will beat them. Also so happy Peyton owns both records now!
Hopefully he adds another ring.
