I talked myself into Balor when I shouldn't have.
Honestly, maybe I need to re-watch it, but I don't think the match sucked. Yes, AJ was the workhorse in the match, but Reigns didn't pull a Royal Rumble performance. It wasn't quite rising to the occasion like vs. Bryan at Fast Lane, but he seemed good in the match.Deathstroke and I list our most hilariously awful WCW moments (lots of gifs & vids; expect load time):

Reigns is better in-ring than lots of smarks want to admit. Yeah, the beginning was largely nothing, but I think that's the old John Cena design of let the people get their chants in, then let's do some action. Plus, Reigns did some stuff early to establish he was working subtle heel.
Yeah, it's called Shawn/Vader Summerslam 1996. They even trolled you with the single finisher too.
Wargames was traditionally 4v4. Not sure who would be the Shield's 4th guy.Deathstroke and I list our most hilariously awful WCW moments (lots of gifs & vids; expect load time):

Not a great PPV, but I think it's at the same level of what WWE got us used to. Finishes of the matches were almost all chit, and not all endings made the most sense. PPV theme wasn't in play, I didn't see no one getting payback. I think the last match was the most solid, besides all the stuff, it was entertaining, and with a solid work from the two guys. AJ made Roman look great, looking great himself. I'm sold on him.

I swerved myself into believing it. At first I said no because Balor is a cocktease on SM. Then I said....wait....WWE always leaks big debuts or surprises if they think it'll get more subscribers. So I said yes....but then I didn't take into account how they stopped pushing the Finn Balor will debut narrative. I wonder if this match finish and the creative got changed up a bit in the last couple of weeks. They built a story where they could've gone multiple directions, tbh.
Judging from the backstage McMahon segment, the WWE Championship will just be something that Shane and Stephanie will argue over.

just curious why in the heck would the shield get back together? would be epic to see bullet club vs shield + usos as some ppl have said. however, it's more believable that all three dudes aren't bros anymore (in-ring of course). you see how dean pretty much turned on reigns when he tried to dirty deeds him, and it's obvious that seth will be coming for that title when he comes back.
doesn't seem likely unless wwe gon wwe and screw kayfabe and credibility
