Not sure why people think I'm butt hurt, other than the Michael Moore post I deleted, I'm not sure which post is giving that impression. It was fun debating a bit and posting the Okcupid and other photos.

Been there, done that. There was the time I almost cracked my father over the head with a plate at Christmas dinner. Not politics or religion on that occasion, he was telling a really nasty racist joke at the time. I settled for dropping his plate in front of him from about 3' up in the air and then doing the OOPS bit. It startled him so much, he actually shut up.

Got caught up on work, which is what I do for most holidays, LOL. Enjoyed the story of the San Diego fireworks show in the news, where all of the fireworks accidentally went off at once and everyone sat around for another 15 minutes waiting for the rest of the show.

Yes! I think I stopped giving a crap about what anyone thought around the age of 35. I'm always impressed with younger women who have that self-assurance at such an early age. I didn't.
