Interesting that Luxembourg is in League C while Latvia is in League D. Is that based on FIFA rankings, history, population? I would think Latvia would be in the same league as Estonia and Lithuania, not to mention Belarus.

for the first edition (this is now the second) all countries were divided into A-B-C-D based on UEFA ranking

from then on it works with promotion / relegation

for the first edition Latvia, Belarus and Luxembourg played in league D (16 countries in total)

last year it was decided that League D would be reduced to 7 countries, so 9 got promoted including Belarus and Luxembourg (Latvia didn't place for promotion)

Estonia and Lithuania played in League C in the first edition, both finished last in their group but no relegation this time because of the reform described above lol, so they're still in League C

Can blame the keeper but the fact is that we didn't put a game away with nearly 40 shots! 40 fkn shots! This just shows how badly we need a striker like timo werner. We can dominate the game all we like, keep hold of the ball for 85 of the 90 mins and play amazing football but still lose and then it comes to nothing.

Yes the scoreline might of been different if Allison was in goal but at the end of the day if you can't put the ball in the net after so many shots we literally don't deserve chit. Oh well.. We're going to win the league!
