No. if you're checking your oxygen on your finger and are not a smoker or have COPD, etc then your o2 should be above 94% with a RR between 12-16 if you're not exercising or if you're just sitting around miscing. And more like 98% in reality. If you're breathing 20 times a minute because you're walking up some stairs or something your oxygen shouldn't drop because your increased breathing rate has compensated for what you need.

You may be hearing/reading about your oxygen levels on blood draws like an ABG/VBG, where oxygen consumption can be determined.

lol OP you have me convinced that my negative test result was a false negative or because I didn't swab deep enough. your experiences, patient experiences and mine all mirror so closely it's crazy.

Got tested this morning and awaiting results.

Woke up yesterday with typical allergy symptoms (headache, stuffy nose, coughing but not a chest cough) but gradually got worse. Came home from work tired as hell and tried to take a nap. Started running a fever that shot up to 101.4 in two hours after a 98.5 reading before laying down to nap.

By the time i realized i might have something other than allergies all the clinics were closed last night. Laid in bed all night suffering

Felt better this morning but still definitely sick with something. Hopefully just the flu.

There's no chance in hell she wasn't exposed, but supposedly 25% of people are completely asymptomatic, so hopefully she's one of the lucky ones. Another thing that's coming out of research is that this is hitting men much harder than women.

She's also blood type O so that's 2 variables working for her.

That was my experience, the testing guidance seems to require those symptoms. The fever I had didn't last a long time, I just happened to get tested on the day my fever spiked.

Never lost sense of taste or smell but those were the only symptoms my fiancée ended up with.

Sounds like the cold I had when I went to disney world back in early feb. Corona (luckily?) isn't the only game in town.

I don’t think I’ll backslide to having more severe symptoms again but I have lingering crap that makes me feel like I’m still sick. Body is super weak, the cough still sucks, and headaches can get intense but the respiratory symptoms have improved which was my main concern for a few days.

I’m 16 days in and at this point if the trajectory is positive it typically remains positive from what I’ve heard.

Right now it's mostly a bad cough and some chest discomfort. The first few days were hell, high fever, aches, pains, massive headache 24/7, then I had a full day of dizziness comparable to altitude sickness.

i literally got almost all those symptoms 2 weeks ago, but it lasted a 1-2 days only. i barely had a fever for 1 night, but stomach pain and diarrhea for 2 days.

the light headache/dizziness i still get. but no cough or aches (my lower back's been bugging me for months, that's it).

100% hospital won't test me so i don't know if i have it. i thought i caught a stomach bug from kids or something. they were having liquid chits and threw up once or twice. fukkkk.

Had a test. Came back negative after about 2-3 days. Was already feeling better by then. Who knows wtf is happening.

Guidelines are ridiculous. So many people don’t have fevers and a cough. Some are only have GI issues.

I'm thinking I had this but who knows since I never got tested.

Started one night where I started getting a headache and fever. The next day I felt like **** no energy and nose started running. Then the next day i had diarrhea and both eyes were pink. I had a cough that wouldn't go away for like a week and had some fatigue for a few days.

This virus is scary AF. We have a resident in our building who tested positive, only reason we tested him was because he had a temp of 100.3 ONE time and we are doing temps are everyone twice a day. Guy had no other symptoms and he is 80+. We still have no idea how he got it, we've been restricting visitors way before the CDC recommended it.
