well for some reason we are going through a heat wave for may... 18 degrees or low 60's at nine in the morning... was a fun run.. much prefer running in the heat...

That sprint/cardio workout reminds me of all the rugby players on the grass when I am jogging by the river. You see them doing their dashes, stopping for a moment and continuing. Even when I end up jogging back they are still doing it.

ya we have been... but from tomorrow onwards back to normal... was getting used to waking and putting on shorts...
haha... playing touch on tuesday... i kept picking some good lines and busting through and scoring or setting up someone to score... i did it once about 80 yards out... cruising away then one of them chased me... he was one of the 18 year olds i coach and i was saying to him please dont... but he did.... i tried to kick in like i normally would and run away but my hammies went no!!! shows not doing any top speed this year... i have nothing... lucky come monday... top speed work comes back...
first set 6 mins...
rest 3 mins...
second set 6 mins
cycle there about a km so back home about 30 mins and its done...

been on my feet since about 8 this morning... ran then golfed then coached... tired as and starting to lift at 2045... not a good idea... have no strength at all... 150 was sooo hard... got nothing... high volume after max turned into very little volume!!! push press was awful!!! removed the shoulder circuit...will do wednesday on day off... screw that workout... going to run a bath then go to sleep!!!Last edited by scott_donald; 05-25-2010 at 03:04 AM.

people ask me how to train, and i answer "i look at what you do and then i do the exact oposite"
if your family was captured and you were told you needed to put 100 pounds onto your max squat within two months or your family would be executed, would you squat once per week? Something tells me that you'd start squatting every day

after yesterdays weights anything is good today!!! doh the snatch is almost following last time even with more reps this time... 70 is an easy power snatch... just need reps under the 70 help my body get used to dropping... dam the 170 was heavy but had good speed and felt it all in the hammies!!! jumping form 100-140 is not advised!!! happy with cgb bit down from last time but got more higher intensity reps in...

Question about your nutrition... you said you don't eat carbs after your last meal of the deal, any reason for the tapering other than to avoid water retention?Fitness Journal:

haha... only thing i have in my upper body is strong triceps... the jump today form 100-140 was a very bad idea almost injured myself!!!
left hammie is now tight as just played touch rugby for an hour and a half... sitting with ice on it...
haha other way round for me... i love the heat in summer and the cold in winter... rem i lived in texas this time last year!!!
sleep was soooo good... not working till 1 tomorrow so will get loads tonight...
it peed me off here are so many loop hole to the plot... and why was hurley in church at end when he is the new jack??? etc...
as trying to loose some bodyfat... put back on about 18lbs over last 6 months so picked up some fat which i want to loose...
