Very nice! I like the slightly smaller (than 4') center. That's going to be one solid setup. My bolted down Rogue R3 was probably my favorite setup. We would get under that thing when we had tornado warnings. Lol. And like others have already mentioned.. that ceiling height is a dream man. Anything else major going in this space as far as equipment?

I tried to reach plenty on what people did/how/why leading up to the move. I would have preferred an 8' long section for in/behind the rack vs two 4 footers but I didn't think of that when I was buying the plywood, would have had to buy some more pieces (had too many cut in half out of what I bought) which would have cost more money and taken more time. Should be same end result though (what I didn't plan on is the 4' inside the rack being too short and having my toes or balls of my feet maybe over the edge when racking a back squat, so I did that third section)
I really liked the slightly more narrow center when I read about the idea. The plates should fall squarely on the rubber-topped sides now, even if I'm off by a little bit, with the standard 4' there's no margin for error on the plates landing partially on the wood, and it's not like I need to stand with feet farther apart. It also lines up brilliantly with the inside of the rack.
I don't have anything else major equipment wise at the moment.
I do want to look into attaching monster light type stuff to the wall for plate storage and a dip station, and if it wasn't for the $ I want an assault air bike (so, sometime), and who knows what else I'll find with the space.
There is a 46" TV (slightly burned in plasma 1080) waiting to be mounted, and I have an AVR and a big ass subwoofer for there as soon as UPS decides to actually deliver them.
There's a leather couch hand-me-down from the family room and a reclining type chair staying there too.
Just adding stuff to it, will be echo-y concrete walls...I will get some flags and posters and things for the walls and whatever else I come across.
It's not normal. We are on an extreme slope/hill, the garage is basically at ground level (slight uphill to garage) and to have the walkout portion of the basement at ground level on the opposite back side it looks like a 12' ceiling was needed lol. Lots of poured concrete walls along most of the basement...tornado warning it's the place to be

There is no flat side, really. What I put up is meant to be up, the other side has weird (to stand on)textured and channeled stuff going on to help water move underneath them is my guess.
Those are the same stall mats I've had in my garage for several years.
If there were one (or both) sides flat stall mats nearby I might have considered getting them, but TSC is where I went for them and that is what they have there (all the time, here). It's not a big deal even if not ideal.

Got my flooring in today.
Guess what! Out of 8 rolls, 4 were a different color. Out of 8, none were the right color. One was damaged.
Between this, the 6+ weeks dealing with Rogue, and getting that weird bar holder from Rep, I'm questioning if anyone, at all, can deliver a proper product. I'll be calling about my rack tomorrow to confirm that there's no issue because if my rack is messed up, heads will roll... /rantCrews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

I got a lot of snow today. We haven't had this much since 2009.
I had a chance to drive out to the Pearl River & snap some pics. Whenever the temperature drops this dramatically (it was in the 80s, then dropped into the 40s, then today, 30s into the 20s), large bodies of water always create large amounts of steam.
It's really strange to see even bayous covered in a dusting of snow. I'll welcome it, though. It's a nice change as it's been really hot.
Also, here's a picture of Porter cemetery from 1830. I don't know much about the history of it. I'll eventually find some history on the place. There's a lot of above ground coffins.
Actually, I need to go around to other cemetaries & snap some shots. There's a lot of old cemeteries (Pre-WWI, Pre-Civil war) and family plot cemeteries sprinkled all over the place. There's 2 more cemeteries near Porter's, a family plot cemetery not too far down the road, a family plot by the highway in Mississippi, along with an old cemetery down a dirt road that looks like the makings of a horror movie... interesting stuff.Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59

Let's hope it's temporary. Or he gets reincarnated.

Just checking in. Hope all is well. After 3 years of back problems due to flipping weights I've sold off my whole gym for the most part. All that's left's is about 3 bars and my full York bun and globe set. Been riding a bike and as of late a lot of mountain biking. Doesn't look like much has changed.

My wife's cousin started filming with a Mavric Pro drone. The thing is crazy.
