Occasionally you might see a Redback spider which is like a Black Widow. The worst of course is the Funnel-Web. Never seen one and I'd like to keep it that way.

Glad we don't have funnel web spiders in the U.S. They are deadly poisonous and aggressive.

South America also has big spiders that nest in banana bunches, claiming a lot of field workers.

Leaps for its victims, and is twice as poisonous as black widow.

My building was open in the morning but I guess it like locked at 10am or something. UPS driver came and couldn't get it, but I thought the door was open so I called and bitched. He came back out and I realized the door was locked after all. I apologized profusely but he was pretty awesome about it.

Wow, fantasy football decision of the season for me...I get to finish 8-8 because I benched the San Francisco defense just before the game last night to protect my <2 point lead. That defense ended up scoring -5 points. I would have lost the matchup and finished with a losing record had I kept them in.

S5 of Dexter is a big letdown after the masterpiece that was S4.

I just watched the series finale of The Wire again. If HBO keeps it On Demand, I'll be starting another run through it. I'll be interested to hear your take on it.

I'm thinking it might get another play through when I return to germany for a bit. That'll be either play through number 4 or 5. Although I don't watch them as thoroughly/intently as I do on the first watch (i am generally on the computer with teh tv in view so I can watch while doing other things).
