Some of mine that I've taken with just the iphone in my travels during nature walks, and/or runs. The pier and the black and white shot of the bait/tackle ''trailer'' was taken today at lunch time. I like playing with black and white...
Just giving you a glimpse into my world.
(I like that bait/tackle place..it's just something you don't see everyday, and SO red neck lol)Last edited by whatevergirl; 03-18-2015 at 03:37 PM.

She had the biggest goofiest grin on her face when we got a copy this morning.
Gotta admit I was dubious about handing a +$1600 camera/lens to both of the girls, but they were very serious and careful and listened to instructions. They haven't quite grasped the f stop and shutter but are getting there.

Beautiful pic! That's fantastic.
haha thank you! I have better ones not taken using an iphone, I'll have to load them...but wanted to share some here of my surroundings. It's funny all that you see when you are paying attention to the nature around you.
I run with my phone for music, so tonight, caught this on my way back home...
I rarely see these birds sitting. lol They are usually walking across the busy streets, stopping traffic. I was glad I could get up close enough to him, and he didn't seem to mind.

St. Pete is a cool town, went there today with my friends for a bit. We were in the process of looking for a pub, and ran across this ''parade,'' that was unfolding in front of us. It was really more of a peaceful march/demonstration to support fair wage and fair farming. Took a few pics of it to share here.

Not talent,just practise.
Northern Rivers area is technically Sub Tropical though we are close enough to the range to get the cold from the Temperate zone in winter,90 min. drive and we could see light snow, occasionally.Hot humid summers and mild winter days, with nights getting to sub zero, celsius.I've seen 49C days and -10C nights here.Floods every year, with some being major, have been stuck for three days in the last big one,and the day before we had 82mm of rain in twenty minutes,(around three and a half inches.),and 198mm for the day. That is just under 8 inches.
Plenty of remnant rainforest patches to be found, and Eucalypt as well.
All the nature pics I take are either around the house,in the wetland adjacent or down at the creek between us and the highway.
