Monster, the flavours are great. The different sugar free flavours have just made it over here, so the Silver/White can, Orange and Red are all really nice.

Really been analysing my DL form and realised that I'd been pretty much Straight Legging it as opposed to conventional, then wondered why my Hammy's were on fire.... Corrected my form and 130kg x 6 came up nicely today. Really wanted to try a 1RM but DL's are my first movement of the workout and didn't want to poop the rest of it.

I'm at an open day for work tomorrow, i'll be in the studio over the weekend for sure, got the kitchen to strip ready for replastering, painting and flooring (including knocking a cupboard out) and on Sunday I have a rehearsal with the Flamenco Ensemble I play bass in, as we have an upcoming gig at a world music festival.

lol 2 different location managers taking vacations. free time is down to zero lately. the silver lining is that my routine is very set right now, so hopefully i can use the structured days to my advantage and be more productive.

hopefully i'll get a few days off before the holidays hit to maybe get to Vegas or some other place with some good food and nice weather.

eating a kirkland cookie dough protein bar and can't really say i'm a fan. i haven't had protein bars in a long time so i can't remember, but the texture on this is gritty and not particularly appealing. will try the chocolate brownie tomorrow and see how i feel; might be making a return to costco if they're both not good.

or is there some secret to enjoying of which i am unaware?

i know someone who's got a box of premier protein bars (from Sams Club, is that what you were talking about?) so i'll try one out and maybe he'll trade. or maybe he'll just take my box of protein off my hands...

i'm used to taking off once or twice a year for a week or so at a time, if possible. dating my wife long distance kinda got me used to that...i'll find somewhere to go and something to do eventually, haha. just have to learn how to travel again now that i'm not dating...

This week I started watching The Wire and reading The Stand. I guess you could say things are getting pretty SRS

Does anyone here do Vegas with their SO? My SO wants to go as she has never been but I just can't imagine what we would do besides eat and drink, her get messages, and I gamble. I have been to Vegas while single and it's a blast but just doesn't seem like a couples spot unless you swing or something. Opinions?
