Thanks man. Kinda slow at work today, so I will try to get to that spreadsheet. Seems like you have kept busy with the lil' guy anyways. I have an idea for a two day training split with 2-3 days of assistance that I will throw in there to see if you like it. May work out well with the schedule.
Trying. This whole volume and lots of compound movements is nice.
Thanks and crap to you too.

I will point out what I'm sure you already know/said re: the inconsistent setup. Not just the setup but the execution. There are some where you're really getting your knees/legs at full extension pretty early and basically just stiff legging it too. I definitely fall into that trap some, because I think as a conventional puller you know where your sticking point is and you're trying to rush the lockout some. You just happen to still be strong as fuk .

no homo?
Well....I think part of the problem is that I have not handled that heavy of weight as of late. Just kind of worked up to it and knew I had 600+ in me after the 505 x 7 last week. You can use brute force to get your way through a 90-95% lift, which is what I was able to do, but if I want to set new PRs and hit my 700, the technique will need to be much more refined. So basically, I have not had to have perfect form to this point, but will be refining it for the moment when I do.
With that said, I believe that I have pretty damn good form when my setup is proper. I may stiff-leg a bit, but that also plays to my strength in the lift. With a good setup, the flow should follow. I need to work in a bit higher percentages to reinforce the need for the setup.
Also, I found something in my notes today about having my belt one hole more loose for deads than I do for squats (note from last winter/early spring). I took the belt out one notch on the 505 x 10 set and it felt a bit better, where as the 605 x 1 it was set to the same hole as my squats. I will play with that in the next couple weeks.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Events
12" Log C&P
230 x 1
230 x 3
230 x 5
*Needed some practice here, so I wanted to get some reps with a relatively heavy weight. I haven't worked much with a log lately and it shows. Need to bring this up a lot.
Yoke
700 x 80'
*Hate doing yoke two weeks in a row, but kinda had to. The driveway was still icy this week and yoke on ice is a lot safer than farmers on ice. Ok for now, but I need to work my farmers.
Stones
*Chalk only, no tacky to 54"
240 x 3
300 x 1 (2 sets)
*Same as last week. Just working the stones a bit.
Felt a bit fatigued from the pulls on Thursday (this was yesterday). Log turned out alright. First rep was awful, triple was ok, set of 5 was nice but showed where my conditioning is currently at (not good).Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

It must have impregnated the neighbor lady too....dude isn't too happy with me right now.
Missed you too. Tell Ace, Lilly and your deadlift bar that I said "Hi".
No powerlifter, no care.
I will let you know when I need advice on a snatch. (perhaps Matt would be better on all fronts though....)Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

No, hardly ever film event day. Just kind of a pain in the ass. I film my training mainly because I train alone. Only way I have to check form and judge difficulty. Two guys I train events with are very good at strongman and have been at it for a while. Another 2-3 are pretty good at noticing some other issues and giving cues. So I don't have a need to film for form checks. Filming for entertainment isn't really of interest to me as we are usually changing weights, setting up the next event, or just bullsh*tting....which is a hell of a lot better than setting up a camera. Lastly, moving events are dumb to film. Most of the run you are out of sight anyways, so it does no good.
