I'm not really curious as to why dog's don't recognize themselves in the mirror, but why don't they even notice another dog in the mirror. They usually go nuts when they see another dog that they don't know, but if you put a mirror in front of them they don't react at all.

Every year the regular season gets more and more meaningless. I'd rather watch the 1st place Brewers.
4th straight year of Golden State vs Cleveland, now the fun begins. Wish the King had more help but should be a good series. GS is 12 pt favorites in game 1.

Nice one GS, but now you have to learn how to properly place them, like me, or the master dom.
Saw First Blood last night. Boy was that always fun to watch on HBO when I was 10. Sort of a weak plot but nonstop entertainment as he trolls those idiots.DR. 3time

First Blood is great, but you're probably too young.
Saw Creed (2015) for the first time last night. As much as I love the Rocky series, boy do their continuation movies suck compared to what the Karate Kid just busted out with Cobra Kai. Stars Wars too, more disappointing than epic.DR. 3time

They never really played it on the premium channels. No one in my family was really into the series as far as I can tell. They were with Rocky, sure, and it was also on those channels plenty throughout the days.

Lol no **** I'm not gonna remember that, but the point stands that they did play plenty of Rocky movies on HBO or whatever in more recent times. I'm sure TBS or something might have played it, but I hardly got around to those channels for movies. There's certain movies that a lot of people know that just didn't really make it on to those circuits for some reason that went under my radar. Same thing with music. I never heard Led Zeppelin in movies or the radio, so I was pretty unfamiliar with them. They seem to be widely the most respected classic rock band of all time.

Growing up in the 80’s, I remember First Blood being on Cinemax and The Movie Channel quite a bit. And unlike HBO those channels showed rated R movies during the day so I spent many summer days laying on the couch watching.

+Both of Stallone's franchises, Rambo and Rocky, began with such poignant, artistically driven dramas that it's almost baffling as to how cheesy they became. That both First Blood and Rocky could lead to Rocky 4 and Rambo 3 is just hilarious and baffling, though those films are still extremely enjoyable, just for entirely different reasons.
++First Blood is also the movie that made me want to get a dirt bike."it's likely one of us will have to spend some days alone"

Hey guy long time.
It makes sense I suppose. I only remember Terminator 2 playing for a short bit when it came to TV. Predator would play on one of the channels though, probably Encore. Funny how Starz came out just so Encore had an affiliate that wasn't relegated to older movies. While Die Hard 3 would play pretty often, I had to rent the first two on Netflix to become acquainted with them. After the fourth one came out though they started playing them.
Also funny how modern day streaming resembles premium channels. Kinda felt like the sky's the limit with how many movies I'd seen growing up, but now in days you see first hand movies that come and leave Netflix by schedule.
Not where I grew up. Led Zeppelin was like sonic wallpaper, on pretty much all the time. As I have gotten older I have really grown to appreciate them but the little 80’s punk I was hated them.

I'll tell you this much — LeBron has put the MJ comparisons to bed. Jordan never had to carry duds like JR.
You can't do more than he's doing. Jordan never scored 50+ in a Finals and lost. This time last year JR Smith contributed 3 points in the first two Finals games on the way to a 0-3 hole they never recovered from.

Yeah, Jordan's teams had to wait 7 years (for the Celtics to deplete) until they could battle the Pistons to eventually make the Finals. When he left to play baseball they went 55-27, a high quality playoff team. This Cavs team without LeBron would be battling to not be dead last, like last time he left. Course, MJ could close it out at every turn (in the 2nd half of his career), but it's not apples to apples looking at his cast around him. They had much better management.
Next year LBJ will pass Jordan in points scored.DR. 3time

Lebron is playing this game at a level no one else has... but with the game constantly evolving the best player of all time will usually be a current player. Maybe I am just old and there is no difference but to me jordan still has the edge for greatest but it’s a good argument. MJ did score 45 on the Jazz (regular time) to win the title (team total 87, pippen had 8), at35 yo. Averaged 41/8/6 for the finals.
+ And if MJ was in Lebron’s shoes, good chance JR is getting his ass beat on live tv.Last edited by 7Seconds; 06-01-2018 at 01:43 PM.
